In Case You Missed It: Real Housewives of Atlanta, Ep 7 “Law By Sheree”
Bravo’s popular ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ reality series usually airs on Sundays, but Bravo aired a special court episode last night titled “Law By Sheree”.
In this episode, Sheree’s former ATM machine (former pro baller Bob Whitfield) has run out of funds (Whitfield claims he only brings in $3,000 a month). So Whitfield takes Sheree to court for modification of his child support payments, meaning he wants to modify the child support amount that he has reportedly aready paid.
The Atlanta law community is buzzing about the business practices of local “celebrity attorney” Phaedra Parks. From accepting drug money in parking lots with no receipts, to sending her assistants to chase down Sheree for her $5,000 retainer fee rather than have her transfer the funds into the law firm’s business account like everyone else does.
It all seems dubious and rather bizarre. But I guess it makes for better “reality” TV. It’s probably no surprise that Phaedra failed the Georgia bar exam the first time she took it in 1998 — the year she graduated from the University of GA law school. She sat for the bar exam a year later in 1999, and this time she passed. But she’s in good company; the late John F. Kennedy failed the New York bar exam twice before finally passing on the 3rd try.
Queen Latifah’s ex-girlfriend is not a happy camper
Apparently Queen Latifah’s ex-girlfriend reads the blog regularly. On Monday, personal trainer Jeanette Jenkins took to her Twitter page to subliminally tweet her ex after she saw the above photo of the Kang lunching with an athletic beauty. Jenkins wasted no time tweeting “What goes around comes around.” She followed that tweet up with “What is done in the dark will always come to the light.” But why is she mad though? Rumor has it that Jeanette is getting in full body workouts with her client and friend, Kelly Rowland. The ladies recently released a Sexy Abs workout DVD together. The DVD is reportedly flying off the shelves. Not bad for a scorned woman on the rebound.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner Celebrating Haiti
Last week we heard that embattled porno star Kim Kardashian was in Haiti to join in humanitarian efforts and to repair her damaged image. Yet we saw no pics of Kim roughing it in Haiti as we did with talk show maven Oprah who’s also on the storm torn island.
Finally, a photo of Kim Kardashian in Haiti has emerged.
According to the Huffington Post, Kim and her mother/manager, Kris Jenner (far left), traveled with their friends, including Maria Bello, (2nd from right) and actress Patricia Arquette (far right), “to experience the Haiti that Maria has come to know and love through her organization, We Advance.”
In a letter published on weadvance.org, Kim writes:
We came to celebrate the thousands of Haitian women who are working tirelessly every day to bring economic and social justice to all people in Haiti. So to them we say: we are humbled and moved to have been with you and to tell the world about your grace. We are proud to tell the world your stories.

Meanwhile, Kim’s younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, is settling in after traveling to Dallas, Texas with her hubby, Lamar Odom. Khoe tweeted a pic of her hubby in his crisp white Dallas Mavericks uniform today.

Reality TV personality Kimbella Vanderhee hosted the Investment Club’s Reality Edition at Gold Room last night. Vivica’s ex, Omar “Slimm” White, was in the house, along with Atlanta’s Glitterati. Frankly, all this trickery is exhausting, and hasn’t been nearly as convincing as she hoped it would be. Therefore, Floppy will be keeping a low profile for the next month. So, she’s not really pregnant, but there will be a baby soon. And Floppy has been very busy behind the scenes shaking that baby money tree! Some money is going out (payments to medical professionals who will swear that they were there for the birth), but much, much more money will be coming in. She will be making money off of the fake story of the baby’s birth (which will be a C-section for Real Mommy but a ‘vaginal’ delivery for Floppy). And more money off of the baby photos. And the story of how important it is to her that she “breast-feeds” her baby. And the story of how she lost the “baby weight.” And the photos of her “new” body (with no stretch marks!) achieved with grueling workouts and healthy eating. And more stories about how amazingly fast she got back into shape and got back to work. What an incredible woman! Fantasia and Antwaun Cook Are Parents of a Boy
Last night the Internet was buzzing with the news that troubled singer Fantasia gave birth to her first son. The baby’s father, ex-T-Mobile manager Antwuan Cook, was said to be at her side during the delivery.
According to RadarOnline.com, Fantasia, 27, was admitted to Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC yesterday afternoon after she went into labor. The baby was actually due on December 29.
Cook is currently still married to his estranged wife, Paula — who claims Fantasia and Antwaun began an affair together while she and her husband were trying to patch up their marriage.
According to Radaronline.com, last November, Fantasia testified during a separation hearing between Antwaun and Paula that she had previously been pregnant by him and had an abortion.

CAUGHT: Thief Who Robbed Buckhead Men’s Boutique
The man who brazenly robbed a high end men’s clothing boutique in Buckhead for thousands in merchandise has been in a Dekalb jail since the day of the robbery.
On Saturday, career criminal Tavoris Ashmon, 25, walked into a Chamblee Audi dealership and asked to test drive a brand new Audi S-5. The Atlanta Journal reports that Ashmon nearly ran over employees as he drove off the lot. He never returned the vehicle.
Later that same evening, Ashmon strolled into the upscale MODA404 men’s clothing boutique in Buckhead. He left the grey Audi parked outside with the engine running.
An hour later, Ashmon walked out of the boutique with an armful of clothing and shoes worth $4,300, which he didn’t pay for.
“The man obviously had this crime planned out,” co-owner Lee Brockwell said. “He was very arrogant and just bold with it; he picked the stuff up and walked right out of here like he owned it.”
Later that night, an alert DeKalb officer spotted the grey Audi as it blew past him. Sgt. Dan Oak stopped the Audi and took Ashmon into custody after determining the car was stolen. Ashmon gave Oak a false name when he was arrested. He was booked into the DeKalb County jail under the name ‘John Doe’ until he could be positively identified.
Sunday night, Oak said, he recognized Ashmon in the video from MODA404 broadcast on Channel 2’s evening news program.
“‘That’s him,’ I told my wife,” Oak told Channel 2. “‘That’s the guy I arrested last night.’”
