A star-studded Selfie Tweeted on Sunday by Oscar Awards host Ellen Degeneres broke a Twitter record that was previously held by U.S. President Barack Obama.

“We just crashed and broke Twitter. We have made history,” announced Degeneres after her Tweet was retweeted over one million times by Twitter users during the Oscar Awards telecast Sunday night.

Included in the All-Star Selfie were Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper (who actually snapped the Selfie), Kevin Spacey, Lupita Nyong’o and her bespectacled brother, and Angelina Jolie, among others.

The previous record of 781,000 retweets was set by Obama’s reelection victory Tweet featuring an image of the president embracing the first lady Michelle Obama. The caption read “Four More Years”. Obama’s Twitter record lasted less than 2 years.
