Bobby Shmurda

Hide your women and children, gangsta rapper Bobby Shmurda might walk out of the Westhester County Jail a free man on Friday.

Instagram blog Fameolous.com posted a text message from a spy at TMZ.com who stated Shmurda’s reps were working on a “bail package” that isn’t finalized yet.

On Tuesday, Hip Hop News tweeted that Shmurda had officially posted bond.

But that tweet turned out to be factually incorrect. Shmurda is still locked up as of Wednesday morning.

There might be a little truth to the rumors, though.

On Friday, Shmurda released a track he recorded behind bars entitled “Hold It Down” featuring Abillyon. The track also features the sound of gunfire. Not a smart move for a man who is being held on felony weapons possession charges.
