Ciara's public image took a severe hit when her boyfriend, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was caught plagiarizing poetry he wrote for her.
As you know, public image means a lot to Ciara. That's why she only dates rappers and professional athletes.
Ciara simply can't afford to date a man (even a wealthy man) who is the laughing stock of social media.
Cracks have begun to show in Ciara and Russell's carefully constructed facade.
Take this photo of them, for instance. What does Ciara's body language say to you?
Note that Wilson, who is obviously infatuated with CiCi, is holding onto her for dear life. It's as if he's saying, "Please, give me another chance. Don't leave me. I promise I'll do better.'
But notice how Ciara is gripping the seat in front of her with both hands? Notice her fake smile and how she is gritting her teeth? Unfortunately, those are not good signs for Wilson.
It basically means Ciara feels insecure in her relationship with Russell, and she is having second thoughts about being with him.
Most women would feel safe and secure in the arms of a strapping hunky quarterback, but not Ciara.
