They say a woman can’t break up a marriage unless she has assistance — namely, the husband’s participation.

In the case of the People vs Adrienne Bailon, the evidence shows the daytime talk show host did indeed play a role in the breakup of gospel singer Israel Houghton‘s 20-year marriage.

Rhymeswithsnitch — Last night Fameolous blog picked up on Adrienne and Israel’s scent after they were photographed frolicking together in Tulum Mexico.

It was later confirmed that Adrienne and Israel have been secretly dating for months causing members of Israel’s church to question the timing of their relationship considering he announced just last month that cheating on his wife caused the end of their 20 year marriage.

In a come-to-Jesus moment in February, Houghton announced his divorce in a post on Facebook.com:

I don’t believe this. Families and communities of a married couple can break up a marriage through sabotage. I’ve witnessed it and its a hateful tragic thing to happen. These are times when marriage is rare so marriage is coveted and envied and targeted. Married couples have to almost live in a bubble to withstand. Enty at CDAN was right, whenever somebody releases a rushed statement about a breakup, someone is about to go public with a new relationship. I’m not understanding how Adrienne is being implicated in playing a part in the demise of this man’s marriage. The man clearly stated that he and his wife are divorced. He did not say divorcing, as in the present. At a minimum, it takes six months for a divorce to be final. He also stated, that prior to the divorce, there was a long separation, as well as going through this process for 5 years.

Lastly, Adrienne not too long ago ended her long-term relationship. So, again if Israel and Adrienne just started dating, how did she play a part in the break- up of his marriage.
