Fugitive Shanika Minor has been added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list. The 24-year-old Wisconsin woman is wanted for murdering a pregnant woman and her unborn baby in March.
TMJ4 News reports Minor was visiting her mother in Milwaukee when she began arguing with her mother’s next door neighbor, Tamecca Perry, over loud music.
Perry, who was nine months pregnant, refused to turn the music down.
Police say Minor produced a handgun and shot Perry in front of her 2 young children. Perry died just one week from her due date.
“I think there is an instability in her judgment there, that coupled with a possession of a firearm makes her inherently dangerous,” Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn told TMJ4.
“It was just absolutely incredible that she would jump to that conclusion that she needed to take somebody’s life over, you know, a less than a week old argument,” said Milwaukee police Cpt. Aaron Raap.
The FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to Minor’s capture. She should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
Minor may be in Missouri, Mississippi, Texas, Tennessee, Ohio, or Georgia, according to the FBI. She may be using the aliases Ida Jackson or Shanika Shontel Minor.
