YouTube star Andrew Caldwell was arrested for assault and failure to appear in court in St. Louis, Missouri. Caldwell was arrested early Thursday morning after causing a scene on a university campus in downtown St. Louis.

Caldwell became an Internet sensation after claiming he was “delivert” from the homosexual lifestyle.

In an Instagram Live video, Caldwell accused another man of assaulting him and stealing his car and clothing. But social media users say he propositioned another male, who turned him down.

He then, allegedly, pursued the male to a motel and bashed out his car windows. When the man tried to defend himself, a security guard broke up the fight. The action was all caught on cameras, allegedly.

In a post on Instagram.com on Tuesday, Caldwell wrote, “Sometimes I have to tell myself it’s just not worth the jail time.”
