Good news ladies, Lil Wayne is a single man again. The rapper broke up with girlfriend, Denise Bidot, just days before he is sentenced to serve time on a firearm charge.
Weezy was briefly detained in December 2019 after federal agents found a gold-plated pistol and drugs inside a Coach bag on Wayne’s private jet at a Miami airport.
“Your honor, I plead guilty,” the 38-year-old rapper told U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams during a virtual hearing in Miami federal court last month.
His sentencing hearing is scheduled for Jan. 28, according to Page Six.
After breaking up over his political affiliations in November, the couple managed to reunite and they rang in the New Year together. But things quickly went sour again.
Denise took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday to share her bitter disappointment in Weezy.
“Pretty disappointing when you defend someone throughout everything and they turn out being just as sh**ty as everyone said they were,” she wrote.
If you recall, Denise dumped Weezy after he announced his support for President Donald Trump prior to the November election.
The “Lollipop” rapper stunned his fans in October when he came out in support of the president on Twitter.
But no one was more disappointed than Denise, who took to her Instagram stories to express her disappointment in the dreadlocked rapper over his political affiliations.
“Sometimes love just isn’t enough,” the plus-size model wrote.
