Unlike Sean Combs, I bet rapper 2 Chainz pays his bills. The rapper was wrongly detained by New York’s finest when they mistook 2 Chainz’s rap accessory for a dangerous weapon at NY’s LaGuardia airport.
2 Chainz, formerly Tity Boi, was released after the po-po examined the 4-finger ring chain, which police assumed was an illegal pair of brass knuckles.
“They tried to assassinate my character, they tried to assassinate my swag,” 2 Chainz told MTV News in an exclusive telephone interview. “It was just a negative dilemma earlier where someone misconstrued a piece of jewelry for a weapon and stuff.”
Simone Smith’s Trunk Show at Neiman Marcus In Atlanta
LL Cool J’s long suffering wife Simone Smith held a trunk show for her ‘SIS’ jewelry line at Neiman Marcus in Atlanta a few days ago. The exclusive one-of-a-kind pieces in Simone’s line range from $45-$8,000, and include diamond-encrusted lollipops which go for $8,000 a pop!

Celeb Style: Rihanna wearing Joyrich “Cash Flow” Fanny Pack
Many of you commented on how much you liked the fanny pack that singer Rihanna was wearing in pics that I posted earlier today. According to fashion blog UpscaleHype, the “Cash Flow” fanny pack was made by Joyrich Dollar Sign, and it retails for only $90.00. Rihanna accessorized her fanny pack with a denim shirt, jeans, and a pair of biege blue sole lace-up flats.
Since we’re on the subject of Rihanna, according to FOX News, RiRi’s pastor is very concerned about her state of mind after it was confirmed that she is once again dating Chris Brown, who has abused her in the past. The pastor is also worried about her increasing dependency on drugs and alcohol.
Auntie Kelly Rowland spotted shopping for somebody’s baby
Britain’s ‘X Factor’ judge Kelly Rowland was spotted shopping in New York’s Lucky Wang store for baby clothes. We can only assume that she was shopping for the baby of a former bandmate whose name my readers are tired of seeing so we I won’t mention it.
According to the Daily Mail, Kelly bought a green onesie with a picture of Rastafarian musician Bob Marley on the front.
The onsie looks bigger than a newborn who weighs 7 pounds. The item can be found on another store’s website, Shu Shi Shop, retailing for about $22.
She was seen leaving the store in a hurry with her purchase – possibly off to see the newborn and her famous parents who left the hospital in a grand display of narcissism this morning. Hopefully we won’t see or hear any more from those two for at least a month. We need a break.

Yesterday, T.I. released this trailer for his much-anticipated mixtape titlted F*ck Da City Up. The mixtape drops at midnight on T.I.’s official website, Trapmuzik.com, and on Twitter.com.
I’ve never heard of a trailer for a mixtape, but we’re talking about the innovator, T.I., who sets the standard for these other lessors to try and catch up.
