New Music: Iggy Azalea – Murda Bizness featuring T.I.
Rap newcomer Iggy Azalea is featured in a Complex magazine interview and photo layout. The XXL Freshman class standout was signed by Interscope Records after she caught the eye (and ear) of Grand Hustle founder T.I.
Yesterday, Grand Hustle released the first single off Iggy’s debut album, The New Classic, due out this Summer. The single is titled “Murda Bizness”. T.I. hopes you will embrace his artist as a white female rapper with faux urban roots. The single features Iggy’s mentor and is produced by Bei Maejor. Listen to “Murda Bizness” after the break.
The 21-year-old Australian rapper’s first track “PU$$Y” went viral on YouTube last year. But even though she’s being promoted as an over-sexualized rapper, she says that’s not really her.

IGGY AZALEA: “To a lot of people, a powerful, sexy woman is vulgar. When I first came out people said, she only raps about her vagina. I’m not a vagina rapper! [Laughs.] I talk about many other things.”

WEtv premiered Trina Braxton’s hot new debut single “Party Or Go Home” today. As you know, Trina is an aspiring singer who once sang background for her superstar sister, Toni Braxton. The single’s syrupy, uptempo production isn’t layered on thick enough to drown out Trina’s newly acquired Canadian accent. It’s a decent debut single for Trina.

New Music: Tinie Tempah ft Rita Ora – R.I.P.
British songstress Rita Ora is on fiyah right now! Since being introduced to the U.S. market by her mentor Jay Z, people can’t stop talking about how she is set to replace Rihanna as Urban/Pop music’s “IT” girl. Rita hopped on British rapper Tinie Tempah’s new single “R.I.P.” Fittingly, Rita sings R.I.P. to another girl’s career. “Her days are OVER!,” Rita sings.
“R.I.P.” was written by Young Money rapper Drake and produced by dubstep kings Chase and Status. The tracks follows the release of Rita’s debut single, “Party And Bullsh*t,” off her upcoming album. Rita’s new album is shaping up to be a classic, with contributions from Drake and big time producers, The Dream, Tricky Stewart, Polow Da Don, Ne-Yo, Rico Love and Stargate!

Rappers Common and Drake were feuding just a minute ago, but now it seems it’s all love as the two shared jokes and giggles courtside at the 2012 NBA All Star game.
This Twitpic of rappers T.I., Drake, and singer B.oB. posing with a leggy blond left many of us wondering who she was. According to Punch Bowl blog, her name is Iggy Azalea and she’s working closely with T.I. at Atlanta’s famed Tree Sound studios this week.

Source: Jay Z doesn’t want to “urbanize” Rita Ora
According to my very credible west coast source, rap mogul Jay Z is positioning his hawt new artist, Rita Ora, to not only replace former Pop Princess, Rihanna, but also to take on Katy Perry for the Pop/crossover market. That’s the same thing he did with Rihanna in 2008 with her hit record “Umbrella”.
But now Jay Z has had enough of Rihanna’s bizarre online and offline antics. Her reunion with her abusive ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, was the last straw for Jigga. He has reportedly cut all ties with the troubled singer, except professionally (he still manages her). Poor Rihanna can see the writing on the wall. And that’s why she is unraveling faster than a cheap sweater.
