New music, "Celebrate," from the upcoming film remake of Sparkle, featuring the late Whitney Houston and Jordin Spark singing a midtempo duet. "Celebrate" is being promoted as Whitney's "final" song. But we already know that Whitney's estate (managed by PAt Houston) will somehow "find" other "final" songs recorded by Whitney in the days before she died.
Sparkle, the remake of the 1976 film starring Irene Cara, opens in theaters on Aug. 17.
Michael Vick is ready to make his baby mama, Kijafa Frank, official!
Page Six reports Vick will tie the knot with his longtime fiancée Kijafa at the Fontainebleau hotel and resort in Miami on June 30.
The guest list will include 300 family and friends, according to the NY Post.
Frink is no typical gold digger. She co-owns an accessories line and the PNK Elephant boutique. In other words, she's got her own gwap. Vick, 31, and Kijafa have two children together. She stood by him when he was sentenced to prison in 2007 on state and federal dog fighting charges.
Miami Heat star Chris Bosh also married his wife, the former Adrienne Williams, at the Fontainebleau in front of 300 guests. Congrats to the happy couple!
Actor Tom Cruise appears in a photo spread for W magazine to promote his new Broadway show, 'Rock of Ages.' The 49-year-old Top Gun star appears shirtless on the cover of W with fake tattoos, and 2 lusty blondes all over his chest. Do you think he's sexy?
Cruise takes his sex appear from the big screen to the little stage for his role in the Broadway adaptation of a musical directed by his friend Adam Shankman (Hairspray).
Cruise plays an 80s rocker, and he says his family's love for musicals inspired him to take the role of a rock god. Can you see the Mission Impossible star singing on stage?
Bobbi Kristina will take part in a tribute to honor her mother Whitney Houston during the upcoming 2012 Billboard Music Awards.
The program, which airs Sunday at 8/7c, will feature a musical tribute, and Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina is scheduled to participate. As you know, Bobbi Kristina is working on an upcoming album and she will likely perform one of her mother's hit songs during the tribute.
Bobbi Kristina, who reportedly dropped her father's last name, will also appear in a reality show on Lifetime network featuring members of the Houston family including Whitney's mother Cissy Houston.
Whitney passed away on February 11 of a drug overdose and heart disease.
You can say what you want about troubled singer Rihanna, but she is killing the game right now (pun intended). Rihanna showed that she can easily compete with Angelina Jolie by showing off her lanky legs at the premiere of 'Battleship' in Downtown Los Angeles Thursday.
The singer and actress co-designed the white, backless dress with the plunging neckline for Armani Collections, giving onlookers a glimpse of her sexy, lithesome figure.
No one seemed to notice the other stars in the film as Rihanna made even seasoned paparazzi collectively catch their breath.
Gheys and lesbians are celebrating the biggest news since the passage of the gay marriage law in New York in 2011.
Hollywood's most well-known lesbian, Queen Latifah, has finally come out of the closet. The rapper-turned-actress made the transition quietly, in a press release announcing her commitment to headline this year's annual Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride Festival.
It is the first time that Latifah, real name Dana Owens, has ever participated in a Gay Pride celebration.
Sandrarose.com was the first to break the scoop that Latifah, 42, and her longtime lover Jeanette Jenkins had split up in 2011 (thanks to my west coast connect for the tip!).
That's when Latifah began dating a choreographer, who some say helped break up her relationship with Jenkins.
Most of us who didn't watch season 4 of Bravo's partially scripted 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' really don't care that the reunion show is coming up. But some of you do care. So here's the tea: RHOA veteran Sheree Whitfield has apparently been shown the door -- but she won't be leaving quietly. Sources say Sheree will "lose her mind" during the show's finale. She was irrelevant anyway.
It didn't help matters for Sheree that her ex-husband, Bob Whitfield, started dating Atlanta blogger Michelle, owner of StraightfromtheA.
They say Sheree was so intimidated by Michelle that she apparently used her pull with the show's producers to keep Michelle from joining the cast 2 seasons ago.
Well, Sheree's "pull" is now gone, and apparently so is she.
Bob Whitfield's disastrous appearance on the show this season failed to generate a story line. So he packed his things and moved to the west coast where he has enrolled in college. According to sources, Michelle and Whitfield continue their relationship long distance. She is considering a move to the west coast, since Bob has no plans to return to the Atlanta area.
Actress Gabrielle Union was among the celebrities in town for the 'Think Like a Man' Atlanta screening yesterday. It was a star-studded week in Atlanta as the cast of Screen Gems' upcoming romantic comedy 'Think Like a Man' hit the city for promotional activities.
Think Like a Man is based on the best-selling book by Steve Harvey, seen here with his wife, Marjorie Harvey.
The full 'Sparkle' trailer featuring the late Whitney Houston has been released. The film stars Jordin Sparks as Sparkle; Derek Luke, Mike Epps, and Ceelo Green in supporting roles. Sparkle is in theaters on April 20. Will it break box office records?
Singer Rihanna cleaned up nicely for the photocall to promote her new movie 'Battleship' in London on Wednesday. Rihanna, who is reportedly looking for a home in London, also attended her bestie Drake's concert at the 02 Arena Tuesday night. Rihanna and her small entourage rode the Tube -- London's version of a subway -- to the 02 Arena for Drake's concert.

'The Hunger Games' is not in theaters until Friday, but Lionsgate's latest theatrical release is already breaking records. Pre-sales of tickets for 'The Hunger Games' have topped $80 million. Over 2,000 shows (of 4,000 screens) are sold out across the country. That means you might not get to see Lenny Kravitz flex his bare chest in theaters on Friday unless you already have a ticket in hand.
The NY Daily News reports that struggling talk show titan Oprah has landed the first interview with Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
According to the NY Daily News, the 18-year-old will share her "personal memories” of her mother and how she’d like her to be remembered. Oprah also sat down with Whitney's most trusted confidants, her brother Gary Houston and sister-in-law, Pat. The interviews took place in Atlanta, where Bobbi Kristina once shared a townhouse with her mother.
Winfrey's team also said the family addressed the “rumors and speculation” that have surfaced in the wake of Houston's death on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February.
Houston was found unresponsive in the bathroom of her suite at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Feb. 11, the night before the Grammys.
The special will air on Oprah's OWN cable network on March 11.
Oprah's crown has been tarnished by poor ratings and traitors who jumped ship from her failing network OWN. In the past, the media seized upon the term "Oprahfication", to describe Oprah's powerful influence on pop culture. But it seems that Oprah has lost her magic touch.
Oprah walked away from her syndicated talk show Oprah, in May 2011 on the advice of a terminally ill boy who told her to end her show's successful run at an even number of years: 25.
Now, the 58-year-old media Guru is trying to save her struggling OWN network by doing more of the face-to-face interviews that made her famous.

The cast of the upcoming season of "Dancing With The Stars" has been announced. If you were born after 1997, you probably don't know who most of them are. The list includes talk show host Sherri Shepherd, who bristled at the suggestion that she might be too old to bust a move on the dance floor. "It is fighting talk," said the 44-year-old mother of one. "When somebody throws down the gauntlet and says, 'You too old,' I was like, 'I got your crayons in my purse and a colouring book on my way out, I’ll leave them in my dressing room.'"
Shepherd joins other over-the-hill stars such as soul legend Gladys Knight (who turned 68 on Tuesday); former tennis champ Martina Navratilova, 55; former "Little House on the Prairie" star Melissa Gilbert (47), and actor Jack Wagner (52). The geriatric set will compete with the youngsters such as 35-year-old Jaleel White ("Family Matters"); Extra presenter Maria Menounos, Disney's Camp Rock star Roshon Fega, Chelsie Hightower, Kym Johnson, Katherine Jenkins and Gavin DeGraw.
"Over the weekend (Saturday 2/25), Braxton sisters Toni, Tamar, Trina, Towanda and Traci along with mom Evelyn ("Miss E") gathered in L.A. for the Season 2 Reunion Show taping of their hit WE tv show "BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES." Toni Braxton with Autistic son Diezel. Toni is a spokeswoman for Autism Speaks and the American Heart Association.
The "BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES" season finale airs Thursday, March 22 at 9pm ET/PT on WE tv. The "Braxton Family Values" reunion special airs Thursday, March 29 at 9pm ET/PT on WE tv.
Pop icon Whitney Houston passed away on Feb. 11, but her legacy lives on in her classic recordings and movie roles. Whitney's latest movie -- a remake of 'Sparkle' -- is set to hit theaters in August 2012. But her fans can get a taste of her former Glory in this video clip from ET.
Starring as "Effie" in the film, Sparkle, Whitney performs a rousing rendition of the gospel classic "His Eye Is On The Sparrow". Whitney makes liars out of those who said the drugs and alcohol robbed her of her beautiful voice.
Shopping an tearing up the mall can be tiring. Cartoon rapper Nicki Minaj, 29, was spotted doing some high end, pre-Grammy shopping in Beverly Hills, CA, yesterday. The Pink Friday rapper did some heavy retail therapy at Chanel and Giuseppe Zanotti shoe stores. She was seen wearing a pink wig carrying shopping bags to her matching pink Bentley. Nicki paused to make sure the paparazzi snapped pics of her handing out stacks of cash to a valet attendant and a homeless man as well. Photos by: VLNY / VLUV / Splash News
Brandy's brother Ray J was seen at The Grove in West Hollywood yesterday promoting his new semi-autobiographical book titled Death Of The Cheating Man: What Every Woman Must Know About Men Who Stray. Ray J, who didn't actually pen the book himself, follows in the footsteps of comedian Steve Harvey, whose self-help manual on cheating men was a best-seller. Photos by: Marcus / Zodiac / Splash News
The Super Bowl 46 festivities are in high gear, and everybody who thinks they're somebody have flooded Indianapolis this weekend just to be seen. Celebs spotted gracing the red carpet at ESPN and Radio Row's events include: rapper Drake (pictured above), former NBA superstar-turned sports analyst Shaquille O'Neal and his intrepid fiancee, Hoopz (pictured below); TV talk show host Sherri Shepherd, NFL stars Plaxico Burruss, Cam Newton, Jermichael Finley and more!
Rap mogul T.I., center, was spotted at Reign nightclub yesterday doing a walk through for his upcoming AKOO fashion show hosted by T.I. and Kevin Hart. That's AKOO Creative Director Ralph Reynolds on the far left; T.I.'s mother, and T.I.'s sons Domani and Messiah on the right. If you follow Grand Hustle general manager Hannah Kang on Twitter.com, then you were probably one of the hundred or so hopefuls who showed up yesterday to audition for the AKOO fashion show, which is tomorrow. The walk through was filmed by VH1 camera crew for the final episode of T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle. Photos by ExclusiveAccess.net
The excitement is building as football fans await the kickoff of Super Bowl 46 on Sunday. Songstress Ciara was given the enviable job of interviewing the New England Patriots players on the field during the 2012 Super Bowl Media Day in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ciara conducted interviews with the Patriots players for 'The Insider' sports show with Kevin Frazier. Ciara got real friendly with NE safety Sergio Brown (#31). You can tell Ciara took her job very seriously. She wore quarterback Tom Brady's jersey number. Isn't she cute? Unfortunately, NE doesn't have a chance against the odds-on favorites, the NY Giants. But it should be a good game for NE fans. It's not who wins or loses, but how they play the game.
R&B Diva Monica will headline the annual Battle of the Bands on Jan. 28 at the Georgia Dome.

Troubled musician Kanye West leads the Grammy Award nominations with 7, but the bad boy producer was a no-show at last night's live concert warmup to the 2012 Grammy's in February.
While Kanye's hit all-star single, "All of the Lights," was nominated for Song of the Year, his critically acclaimed album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which featured 'Lights', was snubbed in the Best Album category.
But Bon Iver, who was a complete stranger to many of us before collaborating with Kanye on MBDTF, was nominated for 4 Grammy's, including Song of the Year -- which Kanye is also nominated for -- and Record of the Year, which we assume is different from Song of the Year.
Fading rapper-turned-actor LL Cool J, 43, (pictured above) attended the concert after party with his long-suffering buxom wife, Simone Smith. I bet she has a lot of stories to tell, such as why LL Cool J is bleaching his skin when he's already a light alabaster color. Or why he still calls himself "Ladies Love" Cool J, when they don't.
Attention whore Beyonce recently sat down with Katie Couric for an interview on ABC's 20/20 where she basically rehashes what she's already talked about in every other appearance that she's made. It isn't clear why Beyonce hungers for so much attention lately.
Every move Beyonce has made over the past 3 months has been orchestrated to put her front and center, in the national spotlight. This kind of attention-seeking behavior can't be healthy for her.
The rumors must be true that Jay Z ignores Beyonce when they're out of the public eye. And that he spends most of his time in the studio just to get away from her. Can you blame him?
If you didn't know the Soul Train Awards 2011 was being held tomorrow night at the Fox Theatre, don't worry, you're not alone.
Vivica's former boy toy Slimm, right, and his business partner Mr Plush, left, of Plush Blue Entertainment, along with Upper Echelon Entertainment brought socialite Amber Rose and boxing champ Floyd Mayweather to Atlanta to kick off the Soul Train Awards weekend at Havana nightclub last night. Yes, former RHOA cast member, Lisa Wu, is still considered somewhat of a celeb around these parts.
Police are investigating whether online "Twitter beef" led to the shooting death of a popular 25-year-old man at a Southwest Atlanta apartment complex early Sunday morning.
According to the Atlanta Journal, Kevin James Scott, 25, was shot twice in the chest by an unknown assailant and left to die in a 4th floor hallway of the City View apartments in Mechanicsville. Police responded to a 911 call at 259 Richardson Street around 3 a.m.
Scott was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
Scott was affectionately known as "Big Kevin" to his many friends and family. His brother, "Westside Chris", is a well-known businessman and close associate of superstar rapper Jeezy.
Within hours of the shooting, friends of Scott took to the social networking site Twitter.com to tweet their condolences and to rage at the senseless violence.
His friends say Scott and a local man argued back and forth on Twitter.com just hours before his death. At one point, Scott tweeted code words revealing his location, and he seemed to taunt the man who later deleted his Twitter page.
A remembrance event will be held for Scott on Friday, Nov. 18, at Cream Bar & Bistro at 1919 B Metropolitan Parkway in Atlanta, according to club promoter Tracye Bryant of KBD Entertainment. Also, a candlelight vigil will be held in his honor tomorrow night (Thursday, Nov. 16) at Mays high school.
Anyone with information about the killing is asked to contact APD at 404-546-4235 or Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
This is a friendly reminder that the world is scheduled to end tomorrow.
According to radio preacher Harold Camping's latest prediction, "Rapture 2.0" will begin just after midnight tonight in some parts of the world. It isn't clear when the Rapture will reach the U.S.
In an announcement on his Family Radio Network website, Camping said the world will end -- for sure -- on October 21st, as God unleashes fire, brimstone and deadly earthquakes, though not necessarily in that order.
Some of you might be skeptical, but it is strongly suggested that you get your affairs in order... just in case.
According to the AJC, Timothy Lloyd, pastor Oakhurst Church in Decatur, is taking the latest Doomsday prediction seriously. Well, sort of:
"I am working on my sermon for Sunday," he said with a smile. "I have compassion on the folks who get fooled by this stuff because life is tough and these predictions give people a glimmer of hope. It gives folks a solid sense, an assurance of where things are going, because they can actually point to a date on a calendar."
Apparently, May 21st was just another dry run as the predicted day of the Rapture came and went without much fanfare. But according to fire and brimstone radio preacher Harold Camping, who has predicted the last 3 Raptures -- Oct. 21st is the real Judgment Day.
In an announcement on his Family Radio Network website, Harold Camping stands by his earlier predictions that the world will end on Friday, Oct. 21. Originally, Camping had predicted hourly earthquakes and God's judgment on May 21, to be followed by months of torment on Earth for those individuals left behind. Using numerical codes extracted from the Bible, Camping set the date for the end of everything for Oct. 21. [Source]
According to Camping, there were earthquakes on May 21st -- only instead of shaking the Earth, God shook mankind "with fear," he wrote in a post titled "What Happened on May 21?"
Only a few Souls left their earthly possessions (and their dogs) during the previous day of Atonement.
The last time Camping predicted the 2nd Coming of Christ, the media captured the fervent preparations all over the world. But it was not all fun and games as one innocent child may have lost his life due to Camping's prediction.
Julianne McCrery, 42, of Texas, apparently suffocated her 6-year-old son, Camden Pierce Hughes, before driving to Maine and dumping his body in a ravine. The boy's death sparked rampant speculation that McCrery, a bible thumping religious zealot, sacrificed her son in preparation for the rapture.
Rappers Nicki Minaj and Pitbull attended the 2011 American Music Awards Nominees Press Conference at JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles yesterday (Oct. 11). Nicki looked extremely bored during the press conference. She was nominated for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album, while Pitbull picked up nods for Favorite Latin Music Artist and Favorite Pop or Rock Male Artist.
Pitbull, whose "Give Me Everything" lyrics "Locked up like Lindsay Lohan" upset the actress, plans to fly a bevy of Miami beauties to perform behind him during the telecast.
It's hard to get 60 women from Miami on a plane after they were partying the night before and bring that vibe out there," he joked. "But that's definitely what we're looking for: We're looking for a lot of energy, something very sexy, sophisticated, powerful — and get ready."
La La Anthony, 32, received a big hug from proud hubby, Carmelo Anthony, as they celebrated the opening day of La La's new off-Broadway play, "Love, Loss & What I Wore" at the West Side Theatre in New York City yesterday. Someone forgot to tell 'Melo that it is customary to give the leading lady flowers on opening night of a play. Oh well, he'll learn.
Later, the couple went to the after party at B. Smith with family and friends, including La La's lesbun cousin, Dice, who is in Atlanta to host a lesbun party at GLOW nightclub on Buford Hwy tonight. Photo: Dario Alequin/INFphoto.com
La La's bestie, Kim Kardashian, 30, was dressed in head-to-toe houndstooth for her appearance on MSNBC's 'Today Show' this morning. La La tweeted this pic of Kim to her 1 million followers.
