Insiders told The U.S. Sun that Wendy, 58, canceled her $25,000 gig at the last minute as friends and family grow even more concerned about her well-being.

A rep for the Women’s Expo confirmed the cancellation and added: “There is a video from Wendy that will be played Saturday, apologizing for the late cancellation.”

The rep didn’t say whether Wendy returned the $25,000 speaking fee.

“There have been questions about if Wendy was well enough to do it, and there was pushing by some to get her to Atlanta and to put her on that stage,” said an insider.

“Wendy’s ability to perform has been rocky at best. She can put together a sentence one day but not the next. There have been serious questions recently about if she will ever get better,” the insider added.

The Atlanta Women’s Expo will return to the Cobb Galleria Centre in northwest Atlanta on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21.

Other keynote speakers include Kandi Burruss, Loni Love, Rasheeda Frost, Keke Palmer and Fantasia.

Additionally, the country’s leading female entrepreneurs will share their expertise in the areas of health and wellness, fashion, building a business, home design, travel and leisure, and community service.
