Thanks to Sam over at That Grape Juice for upping the Yahoo premiere of Janet Jackson‘s single “Feedback”. I still don’t like the song but the video is even worse than I thought it would be. Dancing on Mars? Dancing in a giant bowl of milk? I don’t get the concept of this video at all.
Have you seen this before?
Janet’s is on point body wise and her dancing is tight! It’s artsy and futuristic so stop over analyzing and being negative! We need to support Janet as much as Madonna is supported by the masses and doing it @ 50 years old.

I didn’t expect this from Janet since she usually dances in all her videos. I guess she’s leaving the dancing to Ciera and Beyonce. This Matrix meets Mission Impossible theme is different for her.
I love the song…though I can’t stop thinking about those ladies in the videos that you posted a few days ago. I’m sure that milk is a metaphore for something.

Wel, I watched it and I could have been actually working. All I can think of is Cuckoo for CoCo Puffs…..JD probably told her it was hot. It needs subtitles.
Whoohoo, I went back and watched the last part of the video (I cheated the first time ’round after a few minutes) and found Janet format dancing again!
I take back everything I said about it being different from her usual stuff.

I LOVE this song so much. It is the best dance song she has come out with in years, which is why I’m shocked they went in this direction for the video. I’m cool with the whole space theme because the song is kinda techno spacey, but there should have been more dancing and better choreophraphy. Still I can’t wait to see the actual final product, because the quality of this leak sucks.

Why does this site have to be so negative. I absolutely love this new video by Janet. It’s innovative, creative and definitely something we haven’t seen before. I bet if she were half naked, dancing in a strip club, throwing stacks of money in the air, this site would call it one of the best they have ever seen. It’s 2008…..let’s start thinking outside of the box!!

When I first saw this video on yahoo it reminded me of that 1978 The Jackson’s video for “Can you feel it” So much that I went to youtube to look it up and watch it, I guess that’s where she got her inspiration.

as a lifelong fan (i grew up during control/rhythm nation. even a little janet back in 1982…cleo on fame…holla) i must say the newbies have the game on lock. ciara specifically with the soft voice but all the moves. and i have been wanting to be janet “when i grow up” for 25 years now (since charlene on diff. strokes)….

I love the song; have since I first heard it. Was surprised I liked it so much. I love this video. I read on another site that it’s about taking over planets and stuff. LOL. Someone broke it down and the shit makes sense! Still, I love it. I anticipate whatever she has in store for ’08. I’m Team Janet all the way! and have been since Control, way back when.
Its called “CREATIVITY”, “IMAGINATION”. Maybe you should use it someday.

The concept would have been much better if it had been a person surfing the web, they come across a YOUTUBE video, which would have lead into Janet and then at the end they would have left their FEEDBACK.

I’m sorry; I don’t like this. The other one with the 4 people killed this. It just feels like the video should have began in the last minute and maybe built on from there.
I liked it. I don’t know call me bored with the same old drivel. I’m happy to take whatever I can get you know? I liked the first part and I liked the song. Now the milk part? I gotta admit I am grabbing at straws. I thought it was milk and honey.

Sorry but I’m not impressed with Janet latest try. She really needs to go back to her formula of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis,they created her from NOTHING. Jermaine is talented but only with people who can really sing…and she can’t.
