When pop princess Rihanna made up her mind to help a leukemia patient, she didn’t realize she would perform a miracle. Rihanna’s assistance was critical in bringing awareness to the plight of Lisa Gershowitz-Flynn who needed a bone marrow transplant to live.

In an email to supporters today, Gershowitz-Flynn, a 41-year-old lawyer, happily reports she has found a donor! “Today a 32-year-old guardian angel consented to be my donor, even though in all likelihood she has never met me and does not know who I am,” Gershowitz-Flynn wrote.

“There are no words to express how happy I am for Lisa and her family,” Rihanna tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I am so thankful she found a donor and I feel honored to be a part of such an amazing miracle.”

“This blessing has continued to keep me aware of how precious life really is,” says Rihanna. “I will be praying for Lisa and her family as they move into a hopeful future.” (Source)
