Everyone’s favorite human blow up doll Ashanti performed last night at the R&B Live showcase at Spotlite in NY. After the show, Ashanti kicked it with her pals Lloyd, Gayle King and Flo-Rida. I’m not a violent person but whoever did Ashanti’s makeup needs to be shot for assaulting and battery on our eye sockets.

uh..uh. sandra..lol. the make up is cute…and shanti looks great! really looks like a lady. at least she don’t have on $350 aldo boots w/some gold stretch pants on….the girl is classy~~~~~~u crazy~~~~~~

I was in attendance last night, she looked great and sounded even better…Yeah they could’ve laid off on the eye makeup but the human eye can’t pick that up while she’s on stage…only the camera lens…

LOVE THE DRESS. The shoes could have been a different color. Nonetheless, her make-up is cool, but they could have blended it better.

From what I heard she said GREAT! as if she has been taking voice lessons and which some of the good artist do, but anyway I like her dramatic look she is looking HOT! I cant wait for the Declaration cd! Im still riding with you Shanti even though Concrete Rose was not the business!!!

Ashanti looks nice and toned and she is sounding much better these days then in the past. I don’t knwo why Sandra keep calling he a blow up doll? I don’t see it … a little less eye shadow would have been better, but other than that she looks nice.

She looks great she really stepped her game up.Normally when one has a dramatic eye they wear a more subtle lip or vice versa so it was a bit shocking but I like it,but I am a risktaker when it comes to stuff like that.Not a fan of Shanti but shes been really looking good these last couple of photos I’ve seen.She does have some thick ankles like MS.Keyes though.

I like her outfit here and her makeup doesn’t look bad to me. however, my problem with Ashanti is why she always has that wide legged stance everytime she’s on the stage wearing a dress. It’s just not very ladylike. I just wished she would put her legs together. Other than that, I do think she looks beautiful.

Something about her annoys me. Just seems like it takes everything in her to pretend to believe she is sexy. This whole sexy persona just seems so fake to me. I’m really just getting sick of the music industry. It’s all just robotically the samething over and over again. The same artist with the same crap.

I was in attendance last night as well (after making it through the CRAZINESS on the line (WHY, black folks, WHY? Why can we never understand the concept of a LINE??!! ALL of Ya’ll AIN’T V.I.P.!! And by the way, I know I’m not, so I just stay in my lane and stand in line).

Anyway, Ashanti sounded pretty good – maybe not better than the chick ‘Grits’, who had a hell of a voice on her – but still good. And she’s definitely been working on her body – and her voice…and people seem to like that song, so maybe the album will do OK….

BUT – on a side note – Ryan Leslie TURNED IT OUT. PERIOD.
