Celeb Style: There’s nothing wrong with Jada’s side mullet

So Jada Pinkett-Smith unveiled her new side mullet hair style at Posh‘s birthday bash and stylists everywhere laid down and died. Instead of congratulating the sister for unveiling a sexy new hair style – everyone’s hating. Why must we always hate and tear down our sisters?

I love Jada Pinkett-Smith’s new hairstyle and I’m sure her multi-millionaire hubby Will Smith does too. In fact I’m going to schedule a hair appointment to have my tresses cut in this style. It takes more energy to hate than it does to love.

It’s not so much the hairstyle. It’s because she looks like a strung out tranny in those shots.

Jada has never been fashion forward. Kind of late in life for her to be starting now.

I think it’s silly when it’s considered hating to not agree with the common opinion. I dont like Jada’s haircut I think it is horrible and if anything it is more suited for a younger person, I am not hating on her that is just my opinion which I am fully allowed to have.

D. Woods started it and now everyone I see with the style has improved upon it. I like it. Between this and Tia Mowry’s wig on The Game I am more committed then ever to figure out a way to get my dreads up under a wig. I want to experiment with some of these funky styles.

17 D.Woods did not start this style.this ugly hair cut was worn in the early 90’s even white women were wearing it back in the day.Just watch the movie Edward ScissorHand.I swear old styles need to stay away.

It can be done, depending on how long your locs are. My stylist makes wigs and she put on one and I thought she “nailed” her locs out. It was nice.

Her hair on the other hand, well, I’m not approving of it on her, but I guess it could work somewhere else.

Kinda looks like she got drunk, slipped, tripped and fell, the wig came off and somebody picked her up, slapped the wig back on her head (sideways I might add) and sent her on her way.

Actually I think Jada’s hairstyle is kinda fly! It looks like a longer version of her girl Posh Spice Beckham. It DAMN sure looks ALOT better than that do T~Boz is rockin!!

It’s different. I love that she can go out and do her. She has been doing it for years…people just noticing it!!!

She is married to a successful actor, a mother of two, oversee a production company that now produces every movie that Will stars in…the list go on!!!

I congratulate you Jada…you look good for your age and I know that this hairstyle wasn’t a new look for you, rather than you trying something NEW!!!

She most likely changed her style the next day…I see those braids didn’t last long!!!

Bird I agree with you. I fiqured this is what you meant. I sure did forget about Cindy lauper rocking that look back in the day. Please. When I was in highschool all the girls had the 27piece, sew in weave, cut just like that. I hated it honestly. But yeah D. Woods has this style, I perfer D. Wood’s, someone else’s hair is like that too…..
