Remember Nikki Jane who I profiled in my Bubblin’ Under section back in February? She performed live before a packed house at Sugar Hill on March 14. The sound quality is awful, but the 17-year-old’s super sized talent still manages to shine through.
The occasion was her older sister Kim Burse‘s 40th birthday celebration, which I was invited to. I instructed my photographer Freddy O to go and take pictures but you know how kids are: they do what they wanna do.
Anyway, Kim is Beyoncé‘s longtime tour director. We understand that Bey is retiring soon! 🙂 Maybe Nikki will perform at Bee’s retirement bash.
