Photos of J. Anthony Brown’s artwork by Freddy O Exclusively for Sandrarose.com
Comedic genius and multi-talented J Anthony debuted his art collection in Atlanta, Georgia, Saturday July 19, 2008 at both locations of Gladys Knight and Ron Winans Chicken & Waffles.
JAB is currently a radio personality on the nationally syndicated radio program The Tom Joyner Morning Show based out of Dallas, Texas.
“I want to go into the schools, pick out the J. Anthony Brown in the schools and tell them they can be so much more than a class clown,” he says. “They can be a modern day renaissance man like myself. I am a writer, producer, comedian, actor, fashion designer, visual artist and businessman.”
On his bustling website Janthonybrown.com, Brown sells everything from jewelry to hot sauce to African bee honey. But perhaps the least known of all his talents is J. Anthony’s artistic side. A creative artist and talented visionary, the comedian also sells his sketching work on the website. His artwork has been featured in an art exhibit alongside renowned artist Annie Lee in Washington, D.C.
Samples of the J Anthony Brown’s art will be available for sale July 24 – 27, 2008 in the Lifestyle Pavilion of the National Black Arts Festival inside of the Georgia World Congress Center, and his Hot Sauce will also be available for taste and purchase during the National Black Arts Festival in the food court. Please go out and support J. Anthony Brown!

Its okay. i just love black art PERIOD!
I Love Black Art … But THIS is some Kindergarten Bullschit right HERE
LMAO @KyM!!! You right! LOL!!
Maybe he should go into photography
What? His line of “Crayola Crayon-Dick Tracy, pinstriped, checker board, game of chess (king me), wide leg, played out 1997 Zoot Suits” didn’t work out?
Support the arts yall. LOL
It “sort of” resembles some Harlem Renaissance art.But does look like some kidergarten ish!
I really am feeling that last pic….Real talk
i personally don’t like it…and on a side note. how about instead of trying to teach other kids something…teach your own d*mn kids a thing or two. you daughter continutes to have kids by the local drug dealer…this is not a rumor or an assumption this is front street knowledge!
And his Suits are Corney Too …. !
Kym, I was thinking the same thing! If people love this then I need to start back drawing like I did in Kindergarten and use the brown, blue & black crayons more than the red & green ones..
Brownsugga, you are too much but you are DEFINITELY speaking(typing)the truth!
Exactly @ NYCutie …. I ain’t hating .. cause I can “draw” better than he can … AND I can stay in the lines ….
^^^^^so you know too huh???^^^^
Wow, and I was starting to feel bad cause I was thinking ‘my little boy can draw this ish.’ I’m glad I’m not the only one. I’m gonna go to Walmart and get me some colored pencils and do my own artwork and hang em up in my office.
i wish him luck with all his endeavors. i love listening to him clown on the tom joyner show.
for real? Umm, I know a 5 year old that can do better. I’m biased because I’m her momma, plus I don’t like JAnthony Brown.
@prynsexxx … I thought i took you home… LMBO
My daughter said she might be tall but she would like to color with you Mr Brown….. LOL
I hope he is trying to sell these paintings
oops, I meant to say isn’t trying to sell these paintings
Ummm what the hell is that??? Come on now Jay Brown. My three year old can draw that stuff. Anything for a dollar huh??
Yeah, my nephew did something like that for me between his nap and his animal crackers snack.
He must have showed you some real love on the radio this morning, Sandra.
uhmmmmmm what the hell?? can i get my 7 year old sister to crayola a picture of a lady for me, frame it in a nice frame and sell that ish on ebay or better yet take it to gladys knights too??!!
j ant is cool and all but who the hell is he foolin’? must b a joke. that or his lil nephew really did these…
My daughter is 7 and she can draw better then that!
