Its a toss up … Congrats to her for acheiving this after 3 albums. Remember though that there are people out there who can really sing and perform that don’t receive there just credit.

Do you notice how people never mention the acutal reason why she is here? (singing) when talking about this chick? She’s not a Icon, she’s a copier, Beauty we will give her this she is cute but put her in with other beauties she want stand out unless they are 4-foot tall.
The Media is a mess. What Rihanna has been blessed with is having great producers who have written songs and put a beat on them that would make Oprah sound good.

I love Rihanna too. I think she’s a great artist and this is why she is so famous. Most people talk about her personal style because she’s killing the fashion game right now. We can talk about her music also because she’s been having a lot of hits lately.
I love Ri Ri and shes a very cute girl. I’m not sure about about the hottest cover girl on this one because she looks alittle funny colored and sick, maybe because shes tired. Her style is one of the hottest but we give the artist all the credit. If it wasn’t for her hair/fashion stylist where would she be. Yes the artist has to be brave to wear some of the things, but we must remember some artist need to new stylist.

I agree… she is a very pretty girl and I think she should stick to modeling! however…. She has had 2 very popular song.. UMBRELLA and now that damn TAKE A BOW!! Every time I turn on the radio it is on…. even when i switch to Sat. radio it is on…. So give the girl her props. Even if you dont like how she sings… those 2 songs are catchy and you know good and damn well you were singing right along before you caught your head and made yourself stop singing the song…. KEEP IT REAL!!! i have had plenty of songs that I really hate but yet I find myself singing that crap and im like what the heck am I doing? ughhhh….

i don’t understand why people get all worked up over anyone saying something bad about rihanna or beyawnce. they are making money regardless of what anyone has to say . both are making huge moves and you have to have a little respect for them both even if you don’t like them .
i also don’t see the fascination with either of them . both of them were manufactured by the record company because of their image . the only thing that sets them apart is that beyawnce can actually sing( i don’t like her but i can give her props on having some talent).

@ Miguel Lopez, I suffer from something called a rihanna overload. If u look at every post & not just these, u would know that I post on each one. As does Bird, Smokie, Brwnsugga, 2Thick, and everyone else. If u want to talk about obsession, maybe u could explain how u got the link to this story. No one else is finding rihanna & emailing sandra about her. u know why? WE DONT CARE!!! We recognize talent & we get agitated when someone who lacks it gets constant blog space on our favorite blog.

RHIANNA is a fashion icon, i don’t care about no stylist cuz you can tell she has fashion of her own. I love the take a bow song and i feel she has done alot to be a new artist. Now what’s funny is that people say she can’t sing which i agree, but noone’s perfect and it speaks for itself that someone made it and has the desire to become who they are, even beyonce she can sing not great but she has flaws and people don’t see them and make her out to be perfect, and she’s not, but that doens’t mean she not talented cuz it takes talent to get somewhere whether fucking for tracks or looks or singing or just being the it girl for the moment and that’s real noone stays the it girl forever. with that being said give the girl her props she doing it, just like beyonce was . damn give the girl her props.

ironically it was the Umbrella song that turned me completely OFF to her and the person who wrote it .. I didn’t like “Bed” by J.Holiday either … the repetitive lyrics were like Chinese Water Torture …
