Bernie Mac’s friends and fellow comedians Cedric The Entertainer and DL Hughley paid tribute to B Mac on Larry King Live last night. It was a fitting sendoff for one of the greatest comedians who ever lived. Ceddy and DL remembered the good times during the successful “Kings of Comedy” tour.
Oh, and Steve Harvey listened in from a studio in Atlanta. He tried his best to act like he really cared, but he was so transparent in his expressions. An uncomfortable hush fell over the studio when Harvey tried to get a few laughs in. When King asked Harvey if he visited B Mac in the hospital, Harvey responded that he had just arrived in Chicago the morning Mac died. He claimed he was “at the hotel eating breakfast” as if to suggest that he was on his way to the hospital to visit Bernie but didn’t make it in time.
But wasn’t B Mac in the hospital for at least three weeks?
Jeremy Suarez who played Mac’s homosexual nephew on the Bernie Mac Show, also paid tribute to the great comedian along with the other cast members, Kellita Smith, Camille Winbush and Dee Dee Davis.
