The motive isn’t made clear during the video, but a loyal reader who emailed this to me said the victim of the attack made inappropriate advances to the little boy on the train. The boy’s father then beat the man with a hammer and dragged him off the train.
The victim, a 20-year-old college student, reported the incident to police after he got home.
