Behind The Scenes: Keyshia Cole – Playa Cardz Right

The industry’s elite came to town this weekend for BET’s Hip Hop Awards. Singer Keyshia Cole was among the many stars who scheduled this weekend to shoot their music videos. Keyshia shot her music video for the first single off her much-anticipated upcoming album.

The track, “Playa Cardz Right” features the vocals of the late great rapper Tupac Shakur. So to honor him, Keyshia filmed the video at the Tupac Memorial Center for The Arts in Stone Mountain with Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur.

In these pics, you see Keyshia singing with images of Tupac in the background, and Keyshia takes you back to her dressing room to see how her stunning look comes together with the help of her stylists. Thanks to Keyshia’s manager, Manny Halley for the exclusive access!

i loves me some key. question though why are her teeth so small? when she got the new teeth (veneers perhaps? i notice the gap is gone) were they made the size they are to mimic her old size teeth?

it may be for the best though b/c one of those duff girls (hilary duff?) got some and i swear she got horse sized teeth….

I totally agree. I was looking like, this ain’t the normal Keyshia I’m used to seeing. Her gear, make-up and hair is usually on point. I kept looking at the “sweater vest” like is that that microfiber suede. But upon closer inspection it looks like Herve Ledger has ventured out of the dresses and went Fall/Winter 2008 on us. That is a Herve’ Ledger sweater vest, isn’t it?

I heard this song this morning, I was so surprised to hear a “new” Pac song on the radio that I cant really say if I liked it or not. I was thinking back to Keyshia saying when she was very young teen or preteen and her and her friend took Greyhound to LA to meet up with Pac. Someone was supposed to go with them, but didnt, so they went on their own and Pac was mad that they travelled that far from Oakland to LA by themselves on Greyhound.
