Sasha Who? Sasha What?

Beyonce revealed the covers for her double disc album titled “I Am.. Beyonce/I Am… Sasha Fierce” dropping on November 18. She’s sticking with that just rolled out of bed onto the floor look to prove that she’s just regular folk.

Bey also debuted her Sasha Fierce alter ego, who looks like a crack head with a very bad weave… Yes, yes, I know she’s ripping off T.I. vs. T.I.P. alter ego concept, but we already know she isn’t original, so cut her some slack.

I heard another single off her album last night. Everybody from her label is in town this weekend, so I got lucky. I didn’t appreciate being pat down for recording devices though. I had to ask 3 times for my recorder back.

Anyway, the track is garbage like the other two she released. I don’t even remember the name of it. This album will flop if the first 3 singles are any indication.

I don’t think the album will flop just don’t think Bey will dominate the charts like she use to. She has enough power to shine but she won’t overpower the industry this time go round.

Both of those pics are absolutely gorgeous, but I don’t think they capture B or Sasha. Isn’t Sasha a buck wild vixen? What’s buck wild or vixen-ish about that pic? Isn’t B the sweet, dumure country girl? What is sweet or demure about that pic? They just missed the mark for me. But the pics are beautiful.

VERY early in their careers. Whit’s first album cover had her in water. I think that is the last time we have seen her real hair. Janet’s low selling album before Control was in water. Both were done more than 20 years ago.

Bubbles…don’t you never ever put Sade and Beyonce in the same sentence..it’s too early in the day for me to start cutting folks! To this day Sade will sell out..can we really guarantee Bey can do that 20 years from now? This isn’t hate but a logical question..think about it..her fame comes from her body..what if she can’t “entertain” anymore? Will you really spend that type of money just to see her stand around and yell when she would normally dance and yell?

You can hate all you want to and I’m not a big beyonce fan but the girl is gorgeous even without an entire face of make-up. Not to fond of the covers and do feel that she should be a bit more original ex. If I were a boy-Ciara, Beyonce/Sasha-T.I., wearing the black TuTu-Rihanna, but she’s making money and obviously people love her. Maybe this time she won’t irk my nerves because she’s given us a little time to miss her.

sasha fierce isnt a new character she created. thats always been her alter ego and you can see her talk about it on her wembley dvd and on the bday dvd. im sure the hating and speculation isnt a surprise. people have to find something wrong with her even if it is as petty as oh her wig is ugly or she’s not cute. still not surprised.

double albums are not a rarity anymore in hip hop/r & b. pac, big, outkast, tlc, they all had one. i think this is groundbreaking b/c she is the first to do it for a female? yall correct me if i am wrong. i know you will.

there is a list on wiki that i found and there is no black female solo artist in her genre (what is bey?) that i see who has done one. aretha and tina did one but they were greatest hits albums. not the same as it was already material previously released.

Sade didn’t miss a court appearance in the states, and she is allowed in the states. Her last interview I read said she’s lost her love for music when her brother died. We sure need her. Sade was my road-dawg all through undergrad!

yea they all had double discs, but beyonce’s are alter ego disc’s and she might have been the first woman, but ti just did it, maybe she should have waited a while. I know her song is diff from ciara’s but it’s the same concept to soon for me, if she was the hottest i think she should have came out with nothing close to anybody’s right now, and then going thru the bc\jean thing too.

Can we get more creative with the album titles…Chrisette Michele came out with I AM, she got it from Nas. Alicia Keys did AS I AM, I think she settled on a name and didn’t want to change it after Chrisette dropped her CD. Now Beyonce I AM..BEYONCE. She would be better off naming it Sweat & Suit or how about All Eyes on Me.

I really like Beyonce, but jeez, stop giving Sandra the material. No one can call Sandra a Beyonce hater anymore, she’s just stating facts.
