Beyonce, Jay-Z, LeBron James and Sprite Green teamed up to donate $50,000 worth of instruments to the Mesa Arts Academy located in Mesa, AZ. Bey and Jay also donated $10,000 of their own money to the school. This was one of many events connected with the NBA All Star Weekend extravaganza. I see Jay Z wore his signature filthy “Dirty Couture” jeans to the charity event. He’s a great role model for the kids, isn’t he? By the way, I don’t know anyone who sat through that entire game last night. It was so boring I didn’t make it to halftime.

The big news of the weekend was Allen Iverson’s new hair cut. AI cut off his trademark braids after 12 years. Iverson told SLAM magazine that he cut his hair to “do something different.” He said the big difference is the time it takes him to get ready in the morning is now cut in half. Really?

The royal couple T.I. and Tiny spent quality time together in Phoenix while Tiny’s mom Diane stayed home with the babies.

Shaquille O’Neal stepped out with on-again/off-again wife Shaunie at the Kenny Smith All Star Jam on Friday (2/13). Remember when Shaq was a rapper and called himself Shaq Fu? I still have his rap album that I use to prop up one side of my coffee table.

1. I love the first pic of Jay and B. They seem to be sharing a laugh at the expense of someone close by. Too cute.

2. I hate the pic of Iverson that’s going around. I know he’s not gay, but the photographer just happened to catch him at an instant where he was looking ultra zesty with the smile and the jazz/ballet hand. Don’t care about his hair.

3. Tiny is growing on me. Having heard her speak interviews, there is something about her that I like. She’s not as simply minded as people make her out to be.

4. Shaq and Shani look cute together. I hope they are on again for good and Shaq has become secure enough that he doesn’t need the love of a thousand jump offs to validate his manhood.

What does Jay Z’s clothes have to do with him being a good role model. Sometimes the favoritism on this site is laughable. Jay Z has never been to jail but his clothes can earn him a sarcastic remark about being a role model. We all know T.I.’s story and he gets props all day for doing community service. Go figure.

Jay and B are growing on me. I use to think their relationship was fake obviously I was wrong.

I watched the whole game, but I’m a huge basketball fan so I would. I make it through all of the Sixer’s games I watch and it doesn’t get less eventful than that.

@ MUNCHOSGIRL Oh I do remember that incident but I never knew he actually did time in jail for it. Either way I agree he is still a role model. My point is Auntie tends to be selective with things like this. It is her site though.

I use to be a huge Jay fan too (still love his music but he lost me after the Rockafella split). Did you ever hear that he stabbed Un for/because of Charli Baltimore? I heard that recently and I’m like really?

@Shauny I think thats when he lost me and I was never a big Jay Z fan but he had some hot songs back in the day. He hasnt had a hot song in a few yrs IMO. He needs to stick to being CEO or whatever and leave the mic alone.

i dont think he had a bad barber it just when you first get your hair cut off after its been long it will take awhile for it to get back regular like carmello and busta when they first cut there hair it looked funny now its fine. oh and jay still makes hot songs

I agree about Jay. I LOVED the Black Album, HATED Kingdom Come but he came hard with American Gangster, it’s one of my favs from him (Life and Times Vol 2, and The Blueprint being my other favs).
