Another Dumb Rapper Arrested: Andre 3000

Usually I don’t waste my time reporting on dumb rappers getting themselves arrested since that’s to be expected of some of them.

But it tickled me to see that Andre 3000’s dumb ass was behind bars at least for a few hours this weekend.

Sorry Miss Jackson — this is for real.

Andre Benjamin — aka Andre 3000 from the rap group Outkast — was arrested in his home state of Georgia this weekend after he was nailed for doing 109 mph in a 65 mph zone.

We’re told Andre was taken to the Henry County Jail where he took a mugshot, posted $1,200 bail and was eventually released.

@ brwnsugga I don’t know what type of car he drives but I’ve caught myself doing 80 without even knowing it. I’m sure the car he is pushing is way more advance than mine so maybe he was in a zone, listening to music, open road.. doing it, lol.

I’m just saying.

team andre. been in the biz for 16 years and gets his first charge and it was for speeding. dre ain’t neva been to jail prolly. so yeah he look like “man DAYUM” in that shot. didn’t gucci mane get arrested again within a 15 day time frame this weekend? do you have a story bout THAT? cause i heard it on the radio this ayem. and twice in 15 days that is stupid. getting caught with an arsenal of weapons with a felony record and getting 366 days…that is stupid. driving drunk (busta, numerous others) that is stupid. getting a speeding tix is normal. just slow down dre…

yes iscream his eyes are white. dre has long been living a cleaner life than most in his biz. he gave up the drank, the trees, and the meat long ago (long time vegan). and obviously the bullshyt too cause we never hear about him or big boi in no trouble.

so i think he is entitled to some open road, some music, and some understanding.

Just wow @ making excuses for that a-hole. Millions of people listen to music in their cars and never go over 70 mph. It’s a good thing you weren’t on the road in front of him while he was listening to his music and doing 109 mph.

i LOVE andre 3k!! he’s one of the best too! im sorry but i know when i listen to certain songs in the car i can zone out n hit 100 on the highway. it aint like his arrest was drug related or he picked up a male prostitute. give me a break! when “swag on” comes on my foot is a tad heavier and that j holiday song wit my boo rick ross! give andre a break, i didnt hear anybody callin TI a dumb rapper for gettin caught wit illegal drugs…

VA definitely doesnt play that and the further south u go the more u gonna pay! im sorry miss g that ur son doesnt know the rules to the game of driving in virginia! everyone knows THEY are more strict and u have to walk on eggshells there. HOWEVER, being the professional driver i tend to be whether im going 70 or 100 i know how to drive and still pay attention to the road. dont act like u never got a speeding tkt in your life!

i’m sure he is pushing something nice and fast…however, just because it goes 200mph doesn’t mean you need to be burning up the road…that’s why they have traffic laws.

chile please!…i’m an ole head and i have gotten plenty of speeding tickets since i’ve been driving and yeah my son didn’t know the rules of the roads in VA but he knows now and i did not help him pay a dime for his fees cause my momma didn’t pay any of mine!…glad u are a professional driver and know the rules of the road…good luck with that with all the fools on the road these days! often times in ain’t u that phucks up but the next person…stay safe

He did not hurt anybody. Likely was some hating jealous cop who pulled him over. Does anybody know what time of day or night this occured? I know I’m from the city but those country roads are deserted after a certin time I’m sure. Let’s be real.

can’t believe I’m saying this but I agree with Sandra. Its no different than dui in the sense that you are endangering OTHERS lives. I get he has speedy car, thats why they have tracks.
