i am from the south too (momma and daddy nem from bama. i’m born and bred in the n-c!) and that is STILL a big arse fashion no to the hail no ’round these parts. my godmother and her homies JUST talked about a lady like a DAWG for wearing white to some function they were at last week. i mean they talked about her like she had robbed a bank or something….i think it is silly but it is still frowned upon.
