US Weekly magazine obtained original, raw footage of the accident that triggered Michael Jackson’s narcotics addiction.
This never-before-seen footage shows Michael’s jheri curls in flames following a pyrotechnics malfunction on the set of a Pepsi commercial in 1984.

The mans hair was on fire for a really long time before he realized it. Wow so the whole time it was burning maybe he didn’t feel it cause the curl activator had to actually burn off before it started burning his hair.

Are you talking about the girl that was on Oprah? When they caught the whole thing on tape? Smh her boyfriend came up to her job. Poured ligter fluid on her and set her on fire. I remember her because she worked for T Mobile and at the time I worked for them and it just made it even more spooky to me. *swallow hard* *hard sigh*

She lived not to far from me in Clinton, MD. It was so sad to see the video of her boyfriend set her on fire.
Damn i just realized i wasn’t even born when this video was shot. Dang im yooung as heck. When i was little i first got hooked on MJ from the song/video with Eddie Murphy ‘Remember The Time”. I was young as heck and knew all those dance moves lol.
I also never knew he was actually black untill i got a little older. I always thought he was white. But i was in love with some Michael

This footage was amazing in that it was so clear and they got the whole thing!
But this makes me sick to see it, POOR MICHAEL! Can you imagine going through this? And you are a huge star and have to be in front of the media everyday? So Sad.
I will also note US magazine has been hating on MJ since forever. Eerily in their last issue before MJ’s death, they did a section on his clothing options and how he was wearing high-end designer clothing made for women.

One guy I know whose hair caught on fire was at a concert, and everyone was getting high. Someone was lighting up a joint and a spark from it lit up his head. Everyone thought it was part of the show.
Some people have personalities that make them susceptible to addiction. I believe Michael was one of them.

I just told someone here at work folks with jheri curls had to be careful about making people mad back in the day. All you needed was a lighter and then there was no proof.

And like a trooper he waived going into the ambulance. I would’ve been crying my darn eyes out.
I guess it was spooky to me because his hair was not just on fire but in FLAMES and he was so caught up in his work that he didn’t even notice…..
on the movie (the only footage I’ve ever seen) It was not as graphic or horrific…he danced a little then a spark flew in his head and it seemed like that put it out rather quickly……the real footage is FAR worse than that.. SMH.

It seems to me Mike is making more dead than alive. His Thriller album is going for like 2,000 dollars on Ebay, last week it was up to 15,000. It is a shame to be a mortar when you are dead, but if you read his invincible cd, the credits explain how sincere of a person he really was. He dedicated a special section to Chris Tucker, they were really close. I haven’t heard anything from him since MJ died though.
I just dont get why the media is showing this footage over and over making a mockery out of the situation and people are REALLY interested in seeing someone get their head burned, boy I’ll tell ya the things that entertain us. Then, like cowards, the footage isnt released till after the man is gone.

Michael Jackson’s brother Tito Jackson is speaking out to British tabloids and insisting that Michael is the biological father of Prince Michael, Paris and Prince Michael II (Blanket).
“They are all his children,” Tito tells the Daily Mirror. “Blanket is Michael’s, I can tell. Those eyes don’t lie. Them eyes are Michael over again. I see a lot of Michael in him.”
Tito tells the Mirror that he is positive the three young children are Michael’s despite reports that his late brother may not be the biological father.

I think that Mike may have been the reason the footage was never released before. Same way with all his “friends” are coming out the woodwork with stories good & bad. I believe he had people sign contracts that are now null because of his death.
