This behind the scenes look at Rihanna, Jay Z and Kanye West’s anti-climactic track ‘Run This Town” illustrates just how overblown Jay Z’s ego is. Somebody needs to remind the aging rapper that he doesn’t run sht in New York — the kids do. And even if he did run sht, could he have come up with a better theme song than this load of crap?

is Roc Nation. Another record company where the only star that matters is the CEO? Artist on Def Jam didn’t really shine until after Jay left & that inc Rhianna. Neyo got a little but got bigger after the fact. & the artist already on the label… forget about it. They complained so much it was funny after a while. Nobody was funnier than DMX talking about it. Artist who are still trying to make music should not run a record company… period.

roc nation is jay label but jay is independant so his album is a venture with atlantic its not a roc nation album. and all artist that jay was responsible for overseeing was big while jay was there. neyo, kanye, rhianna, fab those where projects he was directly involved in. dmx, ll cool j those type of people he wasnt responsible for so of course they can complain

I’m not against Jay. I just remember everybody complaining when he was president. Don’t know how you are CEO but only responsible for certain artist.

But if you say that’s how it was then I’ll take it as that. I guess the actual artist on the label should know who you know because they obviously got it mixed up as well.
