Is Rihanna Bringing Back Stone Washed Jeans?

It takes a style icon like pop Diva Rihanna to bring back a decades old and forgotten style like stone washed jeans. And it takes a lame copycat with no personal style, like R&B singer Teyana Taylor, to copy RiRi’s every move. Teyana will never be Rihanna, even though she copies her style every chance she gets. In fact, if it weren’t for the blogs, Teyana would not even be relevant at all! She needs to get her own style — and a hit record — and maybe the world will sit up and notice her boring azz.

Isn’t stonewashed jeans an 80s early 90s thing. That style is Teyana’s element, she’s been into that way before Rihanna wore them. I think she is a talented young lady, she can sing and dance circles around Rihanna any day. If Rihanna knew like I knew, she’d ask for some lessons.

Rihanna is NOT the only person in the industry with a stylist! A stylist can only do so much its still up to the ARTIST to say YAY or NAY and have the swagger to pull it off. Rihanna did the same thing Christina A did listened to the label to get in the game and then switched it up to who they really are.

I’m not a crackhead but I don’t believe in throwing away stuff that’s in perfectly good condition. Those stone wash jeans are durable and you can’t tell when they get faded.

Thx Anna – So if your parents can spend an excessive amount of money on a ridiculous party to entertain your friends…then you hang out with celebs (that used to be called a groupie and you would get CLOWNED for it) then you a worthy of semi-celeb status….I think I got it… :smh:

By the way – I tell my child I can either spend this money on your friends for a party or I can spend this money on you and you can get exactly what you want. She always takes the second option saying she can hang with her friends anytime or at someone else’s party…

I have never heard or seen Rihanna ask for credit for starting shyt just like Amber hasnt but YET SOME ppl give them credit plain n simple! If you got it you got it and Ambers fashion game is very hit or miss and sometimey IMO so Rihanna you have nothing to worry about

Again Rihanna is a basic broad. She is now and she was before she became famous. Looking at pics before she became famous she didn’t have all this style so she can’t possibly have it now. She has a great stylist. There were girls in my hood whose parents were dead broke but pulled together some fierce looks because they had style.
