It got in depth of what happened with him getting the land for the Bad News Kennel <—- that was the name of the kennel he ran! He knew he was doing something wrong and his family weas trying to stop him but he said he wouldn’t listen because the money that was coming in was good. It was okay so far and I agree with @ggouch – maybe this is his redemption

i watched the show and liked it. we don’t need to beat him over the head with a bat. he knows what he did was wrong. to me, he just went more in depth. every one deserves redemption and i think he learned his lesson. what DID make me mad was his brother, marcus, acting like he (marcus) was perfect. when his brother went to jail, he could have stepped up as a man, but his bad decisions (acting a damn monkey in college) messed that up. he was the next big thing. but he got the big head too. like l boogie said, it’s funny how money change situations. on paper, he’s a better athlete than mike. it lets you know, ghetto is not where you live, but a state of mind.

I own a beautiful German Shepard, she’s almost 14 yrs old and I love her to death but I love people more. I love you all more because ya’ll are humans, good or bad, and she’s a dog. (White folks) And besides, he didn’t rape a child, he didn’t rob a bank, he didn’t even get caught sleeping with 20 hoes. They have built a cabin in the woods and I swear my 17 yo came home with a camouflage hat, scarf, gloves and goose down coat one Christmas. Did I mention we are as black as one gets. It’s a man thing not always a baclack and white thing. Some things they get so passionate about and they throw caution to the wind regardless. I just don’t know how one gets to determine which animals are huntable and which animals should be protected.

It’s a tough call which animals to protect, in some “burbs” the deer are migrating in the city and they want to kill some of them in the off season. In some States durning hunting season there is a per limit per day with Deer and even how many fish you can catch. Many ppl did not get mad at Mike for killing the dogs because they looked at it as him taking vicious dogs off the streets, wasn’t his team the ones who made them vicious?

@ meat topic. My grandfather taught all of us to hunt as children and the #1 rule was don’t shoot it unless you plan to eat it! My bad a@@ cousin came out there and shot some pigeons one time…..he made them clean, cook them and eat it.
I learned my lesson and ther only thing I ever killed was a rabbit (it tastes just like chicken), my coworkers hunt and make deer chilli all the time for us to eat, it has a gamey smell and taste but I will shoot a bish over some deer jerky!

the title of the post says vick wants us to feel sorry, but i don’t believe that’s true. i think he really is trying to explain what and how it happened. i think he knew it was wrong, but it’s what they did growing up so that made it ok to him.
he stated in the doc. that the money was getting good to him, he thought he could just pay off some lawyers, etc. so even though he was making millions, in his head he was making some more $ doing something else he enjoyed doing.
another nfler was drunk driving and killed a man – he got house arrest. sometimes these sentences are backwards.
i am a dog lover/owner and general overall animal lover. i saw the poor dogs that suffered, but i can forgive him because he did his time and he seems to be really sorry for it.
i’ll continue to watch the show because it’s filling in some little pieces i didn’t read about in the news.

Hunting animals for food does not bother me. Fighting dogs for sport does, but not half as much as the part where he threw the dog off the roof just to see it die, or the electrocution of the dogs. That bothers me and I really do hope he is sorry for it. I could forgive him, if he really felt bad about that part of it. I watched the show, and it seemed to me the only thing he and his family are sorry for is the loss of the money, cars, cash and clothes. Like I said, if someone did to my dog what he did to those dogs, I would find a way to do the same to them, and I would go ahead and go to jail and be okay with it.

How do you compare the two?
Vick was a multi-millionare that was greedy and ruthless. I don’t care if they were just dogs, he took part in electrocuting, hanging, and choking dogs with his bare phucking hands. And for what, to bad his already expansive bank account? 
I’m not an animal advocate, but it takes a ceartain type of sociopathic human being to inflct that kind of torture and suffering on a defensless animal. I don’t care who they are, it’s unexcusable and the only reason Vick is getting so much support from blacks is because he is black. Wrong is wrong in my eyes and Vick was dead azz wrong!!
