R&B Diva Monica gave a throwback performance on BET’s 106 & Park live yesterday. She performed a medley of her hits from the 90s and early 2000s. Mo’s sixth studio album, Still Standing, is in stores today. Please go out and cop the album.
There are disturbing rumors making the rounds that J Records neglected to throw their full support behind their star and this album, and that they may have even sabotaged used Mo’s budget for other music projects that they are releasing. If Mo’s fans support her 100%, that will show J Records how much we love and appreciate quality R&B music.

I hope the numbers are high enough to let you know that true fans are still behind you….but I buy CDs like Barry Gordy released singles…..after I hear tracks from the album I ask myself…..If I was down to my last $10, would I buy this CD or a sandwich??

Monica is extremely beautiful but with those gigantic tattoos in very conspicuous places, I doubt too many designers/sponsors will be jumping on her as their model.
I just downloaded a few cd’s Monica, Usher, and Raheem DeVaughn to name a few!

I have to reallllly like a celeb to buy their album and I like Monica so I will support. Alot of people say they didn’t like the last CD but I loved it with the exception of maybe 3 songs. I don’t think I will go broke over $9.99
If they did Monica, the way they did Brandy the result will be the same. Headed for the $3.99 bin!
They turned Brandy’s whole project over to a 23 year old intern. I don’t even think that girl knew who Brandy was. I’m sure the same personnel cuts are happening at J!

Well I went to 2 different targets, wal-mart, k-mart, best buy, fye, and radio shack and they were all sold out. I am pissed because I have been wanting it for so long and I have heard that it is awesome! I will be back on my grind tomorrow and if I can’t find it tomorrow then I will order it online tomorrow.

Mo was selling out in Bmore i got the last two in walmart target sold 4 boxes they said.
I got 4 copies at my Walmart here in NYC, my homegirl called mesaying she couldnt get any either at other shops.
