Thanks to loyal reader BevG for sending this video link of comedian Bill Maher throwing jabs at Barack Obama. I thought he was funny. But BevG isn’t laughing.
Before Obama was elected president I warned you guys that this type of thing would happen and you needed to have thick skin. George Bush got it 10x’s worse than Obama and you never saw him complaining.
Here’s what HBO’s Bill Maher said:
“I thought when we elected a black president, we were going to get a black president. You know, this [BP oil spill] is where I want a real black president. I want him in a meeting with the BP CEOs, you know, where he lifts up his shirt so you can see the gun in his pants. That’s — (in black man voice) ‘we’ve got a motherfu**ing problem here?’ Shoot somebody in the foot.”
He didn’t just insult Obama. He insulted all black people. I hate stereotypes and that wasn’t even a funny stereotype.

He thinks he gets a pass because he is almost close to being one of us, Not. I don’t think most of us don’t like political post, they are all gathered at bashing our President.
Also, the attacks on Bush were more about his policies and errors (WOMD), whereas the attacks on Obama have been about his race/skin color.

Also KrayZ, that’s exactly the point. Obama jokes are mostly about race/skin color NOT about how he’s doing in the office. Bush jokes were about him being dumb….because he was dumb. There weren’t any honkey, cracker jokes by CNN, MSNBC, etc.
I wasn’t on here but did Sandra even do a post about Glen Beck talking about Malia? That was a personal attack on a CHILD. Now that’s when the “black” would’ve came outta me. I know Michelle wanna pull out some whip ass on him or call her people from the Wild Wild to come see him.
It is not funny at all. It was an insult to all people of color. Sandra, Please do not let your dislike of Obama color your judgement about what “they” think of us. You will not get a free pass because you don’t like him, trust me on that.

I didn’t post it because he apologized, and because I didn’t want to bring any more attention to that story. It’s obvious that Glenn Beck has issues.
I’ve seen pics of Bill’s Black girlfriends(exes) and they’re all trashy. That tells me that he only likes Black women as sex objects.

yeah, I read that Keri letter.. Someone oops women had waaaaay too much time on her hands… I mean most of the chicks out right now can’t sing anyway, so I don’t think Keri is any better or worse..
But his apology really wasn’t an apology. He said something like yeah he tries to use his kids so I went about putting him on blast for that in the wrong way because I have kids of my own. He NEVER said I apoligize to The POTUS and Malia for my handling of this situation. It wasn’t even close to an apology. It was something just to take the heat off of him.

Judging from your random self-empowering outbursts on Twitter, it has come to our attention that you feel as though you have “haters” in the world. Oh, contraire madame!! We are not haters, per se. We’re simply tired of your drab and talentless ass life, for a number of reasons that I’ve chosen to outline as we move forward:
1. You tried to bring back the fucking “rat tail” for women. This is not 1992. You are not Master Splinter. Like seriously…… the f-ck were you thinking??
2. Your singing reminds us of why vocational schools exist. In the words of that earnest dromedary prophet, Shawn Carter: “It ain’t for everybody.” They should’ve never gave you niggaz dreams. And by niggaz, I mean you. And by dreams, I mean vocal cords.
3. You dress like that nigga from The Mod Squad. I’ve walked through the Misses section at Belk’s and been more inspired than I have watching your red carpet looks. I’d rather piss Zatarain’s Concentrated Shrimp & Crab Boil for the rest of my life than have to spend an hour in your closet. Fire your stylist. 6. You have that ONE. DRY. ASS. RUN. The SAME DAMN RUN. No matter how hard you try to remix it, speed it up, or slow it down… it’s the same.fucking.run. You ain’t fooling nobody.
7. You have about as much sex appeal as a phone-bone session with Venus Williams. I’m sure the mere mention of your name causes vaginal dryness and severe erectile dysfunction all across the globe. I’m convinced that if you ever released a sex tape, the American porn industry would collapse within a matter of hours.
8. You make me ashamed of the fact that I ever liked vagina. This one is pretty much self-explanatory.

@ Sandra There is a blog that has posted a DEAR CELEBRITY letter directed to Kerri Hilson. This blogger posted a disclaimer…but IMO even the disclaimer was sort of suspect. The letter speaks straight up death on Kerri. IT is disgusting and I can’t believe that “THIS PARTICULAR BLOGGER” even posted it. Someone needs to file charges. It is beyond the rants of clowing…it is straight terrorism. HINT: The blogger use to work with MS .Jones of Hot 97.5…Ms. Jones has drug her a couple of times.

@ Val: I get letters like that all the time. I got one today from a reader who was angry at the dude who allegedly slapped kat stacks. I chose not to post it becuase it was a little over the top. But every blogger has to decide what’s newsworthy. Judging from the humorous slant of the Keri letter, I probably would have posted it because it’s funny. I don’t see anything threatening in that letter IMO.

I heard about this last weekend and yes, I was offended. He flat out just stereotyped the entire black race. What is pretty messed up is that no one has called him out on it.
