Former Miami Heat player Alonzo Mourning is obviously elated over the LeBron James addition to the team, but talent isn’t the only thing he’s excited about. Tomorrow marks the 14th annual Summer Groove, a week’s worth of charity events sponsored by Mourning and current Heat guard Dwyane Wade. With the star power of a Wade, James and Chris Bosh combo, it’ll attract more charitable donations.
“Knowing the economics here in South Florida, it’s going to be a huge plus for so many,” Mourning said. “A lot of people are going to benefit from this in the community. From a philanthropic standpoint, we have to utilize it. We have to continue to change more lives. D-Wade and I understand the impact this could have.”

@East is 100 % CORRECT – Lebron is talking about Zydrunas Ilgauskas. I am a lil suprised he left Cavs though, he had been with them since 1997, and had just been traded back. I think he wants a ring & deserves it, he has given the league 14 years and he’s mid 30’s now. He only signed for under 3 mil for 2 years w/ heat, left a chunk oif change by not staying in Cleveland, but I get why and I agree rings are important. I am really going to miss being Team Cavs. Its the only team where I know about all the players, now I have to learn Miami’s roster
