According to Chop It Up mag, Atlanta rap powerhouses, T.I., Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy, will all drop albums on the same day — Sept. 28. Who will come out on top?

My guess is T.I. because he’s on fiya right now.

Though Gucci Mane has yet to attain gold status, his new album-heavily buttressed by a number of high-profile collabos-makes him a serious contender.

Though T.I. is regarded as a friend to both Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane, and has collaborated extensively with both fellas, Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane’s relationship by comparison is not so rock solid.

After burying a beef that allegedly lead to violence, clashes between Gucci’s 1017 Brick Squad and Young Jeezy’s CTE has been an occasional occurrence in Atlanta, where two large, determined crews making moves in one city can sometimes seem too close for comfort.

Who will prevail in the album release sweepstakes? Who has more of the love of the people? Will T.I.’s broader brand recognition eclipse Young Jeezy’s untouched marketing savvy, and Gucci Mane’s seeming unstoppable street appeal and momentum? Time will tell.
