Singer Mariah Carey wants you all to know that she is in control of every aspect of her life — including her uterus.

Jokesters made Mariah’s twins the butt of jokes for almost a year, saying she was carrying each child for 9 months each.

Well, Mariah had the last laugh when she finally gave her children permission to be born — on the third anniversary of her wedding to entertainment mogul Nick Cannon.

Mariah, 42, and Nick, 30, welcomed a boy and a girl on Saturday, April 30, at 12:07 p.m. ET. in a Los Angeles area hospital. Nick reportedly drove Mariah to the hospital while she blasted music on the car radio.

According to People.com, the baby girl was born first, weighing 5 lbs. 3 oz., and was 18 inches long; her brother was next, at 5 lbs. 6 oz., and was 19 inches.

Berger tells PEOPLE “she’s doing great” and they were listening to Carey’s “We Belong Together” after the children were born. “I spoke to both of them and they are both completely overjoyed.”

Asked if the birth was planned to coincide with her anniversary, she said: “No, not even Mariah could plan that.”

“Nick was very nervous and Mariah was completely calm. Mariah thought it was another soft labor and Nick was driving her to the hospital and she very calm and the music was blasting,” she added. “When they walked into the hospital, [Nick] was going the wrong way and the nurse redirected them to go the maternity ward, and I said to her, ‘that’s right out of I Love Lucy,’ and she laughed.”

What type of parents will Mariah and Nick be? You already know the answer.

Expect to see those babies exploited in every shameful way possible for years to come. I feel sorry for those kids already.
