I’m not going to put up 50/11 blog posts about the MTV VMAs because the other blogs have all of that covered for you already and some blogs need your traffic.
What I am going to post is another Beyonce blog in the hopes that you kids will recognize that a master manipulator was at work last night.
Beyonce, and her basketball, showed up at the MTV VMAs last night and surprised everyone with her pregnancy announcement. Yet 10 days ago she played to FOUR sold out houses at Roseland in NYC. Not once did she announce her pregnancy to her adoring fans who lined up for hours even though they had tickets.
If she was pregnant 10 days ago she should have been just as happy as she was last night (unless she’s a sociopath). Yes, she touched her belly a couple of times but it wasn’t obvious to the eye that she was pregnant 10 days ago or everyone would have been talking about it.
The fact that Beyonce showed up at the last minute at the VMAs with a swollen belly and acting so maternal, when just 10 days ago she wasn’t behaving that way, proves what a master manipulator she is.
It is clear from the pictures below that there was no visible baby bump on Beyonce just 10 days ago.
If you are in denial you will see whatever you want to see. But Beyonce’s belly was flat 10 days ago. Someone suggested that she was wearing compression clothing at her concerts. Really? Do first time pregnant women wear compression clothing?
It’s obvious that she is using her baby (or whatever that is) as a prop to get attention. For those of you who have never been pregnant: women don’t grow baby bumps in 10 days. That’s not how human biology works.

Good morning, so happy for the couple. Last night her cover up was not form fitted, maybe exagerrated for comfort. The pregnancy is all over her face. I’m sure her mother constructed the best cover-up drape and spanx to conceal her bump from the front during her pre-awards shows.

Sandra, 10 days can make a difference when you go into your second trimester. I agree that I think she’s a manipulator because she knew with such mixed reviews of her album, she was probably not going to be the main attraction… unless, she did something better than her album. She announced a pregnancy. I think it was a backhanded way of doing it, but she did it gracefully. Believe it or not, I’m actually happy for her. Well I’m more happy for Jay because I think he wanted it more.

At least she addressed it before speculation started about whether she was or not. And in the outfit at the concert, she is obviously wearing an outfit that doesnt expose her belly and with the flap in the front you really can’t tell. I have two kids and with each one I didn’t really start showing until I was in the middle of my 6th month and its like boom all of a sudden I had a pudge, plus I was skinty so it was obvious that I was preggers.

Ok. Well first of all the costume from 10 days ago is not form fitting and she’s already craddling her little one in those pics. Secondly, other than when she was shaping the roundness with her hands she didn’t look preggers last night either. Clearly she is in the early stages of pregnancy and is just beginning to show. I’d put her at around 4 months.
My guess is they were trying to keep it a secret like they do with everything else in their lives except you can’t hid pregnancy without disappearing altogether. So last night she did her proud mommy-to-be thing. Why you hatin?

Auntie Sandra how can YOU tell people what to expect during pregnancy, having NEVER been pregnant
My first pregnancy I gained 14 pounds and wore skinny jeans and a tee the day I GAVE BIRTH! I was able to sit on the edge of my bed and lace up my own tennis shoes. Second pregnancy I had no idea I was pregnant until almost three months in. Within about ten days I went up almost two cup sizes and the stomach followed within a week or so.
Every pregnancy is different. I’m FAR from a Beyonce stan, but you kill me giving advice on things which you know nothing about.

Hell MIA performed 9 months pregnant and no one accused her of “stealing the spotlight”. Alicia Keys performed uber pregnant and no one accused her of this.

Confused as heck why she would announce it at a show that was in a small arena as opposed to a place where she could announce it to the world at one time and get it over with.

Being a mother of 3, I can speak from personal experience when I say that with each of my pregnancies….I didn’t show until well after 4 months….matter of fact….with my 1st pregnancy, being a “perkie” 22…I was dropping it like it was HOT at the club at 7 mos. pregnant (with my husband of course **giggle**) Every woman’s pregnancy experience is different. Also, the performance schedules Beyonce has maintained is what allows her to continue to perform being pregnant. Pregnant women exercise, teach aerobics classes, yoga classes, run…etc….Beyonce definitely has her faults …as we all do…but it is very obvious she is preggers!!! Congrats to her and Jay….HATERS are definitely on the J.O.B….smh…
