According to Eurweb.com, troubled singer Chris Brown was forced to pull out of the Michael Jackson tribute today after he was denied a work Visa by the UK.
But didn’t he already know he was banned from the UK for being a danger to society? Is he that dumb that he would think the UK would overturn the ban just because he was paying tribute to Michael Jackson? What part of YOU ARE BANNED doesn’t he understand?

The singer was set to honor the late King of Pop with a performance at the Oct. 8 star-studded Michael Forever concert in Wales, but he’s now axed his plans after being barred from entering the U.K. due to his 2009 assault conviction for attacking his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Ne-Yo and Leona Lewis are still expected to perform as planned.

I believe the whole thing was thrown together anyway. So many other musical acts have pulled out also. Even the family is divided on whether they feel it is appropriate at this time.

I know this one guy from “around the way” who was arrested not even a YEAR after he got out of jail on a MAJOR conviction. I don’t remember exactly what happened, him and his long-term girlfriend was doing party pills or something. AND GET THIS, said friend got out of jail the second time and still surrounding himself with the same foolery. CB on the other hand has essentially kept his nose clean figuratively and literally.
Honestly I like to see CB dance in general but, I HATE to see him do MJ. NOt impressed by Usher or Neyo doing him either for the record.

To all those who say this should be forgotten about… I hope you’re not women because domestic violence victims never forget! Chris Brown is a big kid who would be best served with a sharp wake up call as he obviously didn’t get one from his sentence, hence why he has had numerous outbursts about this being mentioned since. I’m glad that the UK doesn’t constantly pander to these over-entitled American troublesome celebrities as I don’t know why you would even want to contribute to their success. I am a woman and I have suffered domestic violence so I don’t see why I should go back to being a fan of this child. I’ll take Rihanna any day.
Question: to everyone still on the dv victims never forget, women should never forgive kick… That isn’t our grudge to carry, it’s hers and she appears to have dropped it. Last I checked he didn’t leave her for dead in that car… chick wasn’t dying. The situation was bad enough without people adding on their own dramatics onto it. None of us were in that car, none of us know what led up to the incident all we know are the details of the police report and the photographs that should’ve never been leaked. Is DV wrong? Of course it is, but I’m not gonna condemn a man for a single incident. If he does it again, that’ll change but for now, no.
And from what I’ve heard, this entire story was cooked up by another blog and isn’t true

@Heavenlie… I’m an ex-victim too and I don’t hold a grudge against CB, my grudge, my anger, all of that is reserved for my ex-husband. No one else is responsible for his actions, regardless of what’s been done in his personal life. But you are right, Chris was a child (18 is still a child in my eyes) he may have learned his lesson, hopefully he did, if not than I feel sorry for him. But I’ll take talent any day and Rihanna gets no support from me outside of sympathy for what she went through. But question, how do you know that he didn’t get a wake up call after the incident?? Were you there when he lost most of his fans? All of his sponsors? When the majority of the US public and media almost collectively started hating him? Were you there when people would scream at him on the street? Or when he went on trying to promote his albums but kept getting pulled back to the “incident”? I realize that you and others feel he didn’t serve a sentence, that he was let off easy but did you know that CA rarely incarcerates first time DV offenders? That his sentence was standard for the area where the crime was committed? Hell my husband was a multiple offender, beat the shit outta me while I was pregnant, and got a lesser sentence than Chris did in the same damn county… And just for everyone concerned with the gma tantrum.. He has anger issues, alot of people do so I won’t hold that against him, but I would rather him take his anger out on a chair/window than on a person. Was it wrong? Again, yes and he paid for it both financially and in public perception but in that case, where he’s working on controlling his anger and was out of control, he handled it appropriately. People in anger management have to learn to channel their anger into other areas, it takes time, it’s not overnight and yes it’s better to hit something inanimate then it is to hit somebody. Too many victims are letting their anger for their abuser to cloud their opinions of this case, I refuse to do that….. and one last thing I hope those that lash out as CB also lash out at the other abusers and criminals in the industry as well
