I LOVE this song! But I love just about everything Drake drops. According to YouHeardThatNew.com, Drizzy mentioned prior to the release that the song is for the ladies and was inspired by a conversation he had with a woman who felt he hasn’t made a song quite like “Best I Ever Had” in a while. The track was produced by the Toronto genius T-Minus.

@Hony…I remma my niece was so hooked on that show. She was like 12-13 and she stayed over my house back then certain nights of the week. One night was the night DeGrassi came on. And she was a cheerleader (went to college on a cheer scholarship) and ONCE she had practice that coincided with that show. I let her miss practice. To watch TV! On all things GOOD nobody in my family knows about it to this DAY. I would got cussed OUT 9-10 years later prolly for letting her do it.
