Michelle: Barack doesn’t like daughters watching ‘Kardashians’

Yesterday, First Lady Michelle Obama told iVillage that Barack Obama doesn’t like when his daughters watch the reality TV show ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’.

Now the Kardashian clan say they are shocked and dismayed at the presidential insult.

The Kardashian clan says they were completely blindsided when Michelle Obama revealed that Barack doesn’t like when their daughters watch their reality show … insisting the President has them pegged all wrong.

The K-squad is telling friends … they read Michelle’s new interview with iVillage … in which she said, “Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians — when they watch that stuff — he doesn’t like that as much.”

We’re told the Kardashians were “surprised” by the news … because Obama personally told Khloe he thought “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” was a “great show” when they met last year.

In fact, the Kardashians believe Sasha and Malia could actually LEARN something from the show … because it features girls in real-life situations facing real-life problems … health, relationships, the whole gamut.

I recently watched the episode when Kris got her face lift. Why was Kim the only one who gave him a hug? Who gives a surgeon a hug when you first meet them? Khole nor Kort did not hug him, not even Kris. Kim has a relationship w/him.

At least they didn’t show that but they also didn’t bash her and I like the way her parent’s handled the situation by taking her back home and keeping her out of the spotlight, supporting her publicly but also letting it be known that they did not approve but would support their child. I actually like the Spears as parents because for all the mistakes they made early on when their children needed them they got their ish together and took care of them vs continuing to enable them. One thing I’ve noticed is yeah they get away with alot on these kids shows now but my children know what they can and can’t get away with and I watch with them as much as I can so I know what’s going on. But Nick stars tend to turn out better than alot of Disney stars because I don’t think Nickelodeon puts the same pressure on their teenage stars that Disney does plus Disney will keep an actor well into their 20’s (sometimes 30’s) paying the bare minimum in most cases whereas Nickelodeon rarely keeps their young stars past the early 20’s. iCarly and Victoria Justice are late teens playing teenagers and the adults are in adult roles which is a good thing

and if I remember correctly, Nick did one of their news specials on teenage pregnancy shortly after the news came out that she was pregnant. Disney would never in a million years do that so that’s another point for Nick even though alot of their shows are geared towards older kids.

Are the Kardashians serious? What are Barack’s daughter going to learn at that age from the show? Not everyone is brainwashed…that show is not age appropriate for kids nor does it show great examples, dead. Probably influence people to become one of them.
