R.I.P. Joe Frazier

Joe Frazier, the former world heavyweight boxing champion, died after a battle with liver cancer. He was 67.

Frazier, whose death was confirmed Monday by his family, had been in a Philadelphia-area hospice.

Known for his famous “Thrilla in Manila” fight in 1975 against Muhammad Ali, whom he fought three times, “Smokin’ Joe” Frazier is an inductee of both the International Boxing Hall of Fame and the World Boxing Hall of Fame.

In all, Frazier – at 5’11½ and 205 lbs., considered small for a heavywieght – won 32 fights: 27 by knockouts, losing four times (twice to Ali and also to George Foreman). Another fight ended in a draw.

When news first broke of Frazier’s cancer battle, Ali, 69, sent public prayers and well-wishes, saying, “The news about Joe is hard to believe and even harder to accept.”

At age 18, Joe left his hometown of Beaufort, S.C. – he was the youngest of 12 children, and watched fights on TV as a kid – for Philadelphia and a $105 a week job in a slaughterhouse (from where Sulvester Stallone borrowed the idea of using a side of beef as a heavy bag).

A familiar spirit is a demon who transforms into the image of a dead person who was
” familiar ” to you.

I can respect that….The Holy Spirit is a comforter, I had 2 instances where I was thinking about either my brother or my friend that died out in public and I guess it was weighing heavy on me because in both cases a random person came up to me and started ministering to me…One lady was talking about the Holy Spirit and another lady spoke about her son that died and just offered words of encouragement. I took it as God letting me know that he heard me…Dont get me started…Anyways I’m praying for the Frazier family and I hope they seek the same comfort from the Holy Spirit as well.

Well let me speak on Octomom. I don’t agree with Octomom AT ALL! This yamp got kids by many men (expect for the octuplets), WE had to pay for her to have IVF, WE have to pay for that house she staying in that them BeBe kids tore up and she can’t afford.

I personally think if you are receiving public assistance, you should be limited the amount of children you have. I am NOT advocating sterilization, but if you keep popping about babies with the same man or many men, you don’t deserve public assistance. Either that or give those kids to parents who want children and can take care of them. There is nothing wrong with getting help when needed, but abusing the system by having 5011 kids pisses me off.

My father considers himself an Israelite from a few houses based on his research of our family history. And yes he gave up many pagan things but still works in corporate world because you still have to eat— praying will not just deliver what you want. Where did you begin your studies and research? Growing up with a father adamant on us knowing who we are have opened me up to many things and some I ignored growing up and even now it is hard to see eye to eye with him because he is farther ahead than I am and of course he sees the big picture and I am still seeing fragments that I need to put together but what got you so interested in religion?
