The jury has announced they have reached a verdict after 10 hours of deliberations in the manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson’s former physician.
At 4 p.m. EST today, Conrad Murray will learn whether he will walk free or serve up to 4 years in prison for neglecting his duties as a doctor.

The addict requested that Conrad step out of his professional position to get his bank account padded. I know MJ was America’s golden Black/White child but there is still some accountability to be had on his end.
If he had been to dozens of other doctors who had told his azz “no” because of the risks of the drugs no matter how much he paid them, then MJ KNEW of what he was getting into. He KNEW the risks, he KNEW the potential consequences, he KNEW if he kept fishing around, SOMEBODY who was money-hungry enough would bite the bait.

Ive seen documentaries, like Elvis for instance.. he has 100 MD’s prescribing him meds.. there is no way to keep track of who’s prescribing what and some addicts know that. So in that case, it couldn’t be the doctors fault. But conrad acted as a real drug dealer, who basically set up shop in micheals home. he knew what MJ was doing and did nothing to stop it. Some doctors cut patients off after prescribing too many pain killers, but the addict will just go out and find another unsuspecting doctor to continue the cycle

There are a lot of people responsible for MJ’s death, himself being at the top of the list.
But, Murray is now the physical representation of every person that failed Michael and he chose to risk being the one to put the final nail in the coffin. He took as big a gamble but won’t be paying the ultimate price so I say he’s getting off pretty lucky no matter what.
Besides, I’m sure he’ll find a way to make money off Mike’s corpse just like everybody else. He can write his “If I Did It” from his jail cell.

Example:
Grown, adult, free-thinking , common sense capable MJ insisted on having these drugs.

Kid dies from…..asking for a bike?

This is probably a very unpopular decision but I don’t agree with trying to charge Conrad for manslaughter. MJ is responsible for his own death. Conrad should lose his license to practice and maybe spend time in jail for illegally administrating drugs, but ultimately Michael would have just found another unscrupulous doctor to supply his needs. I think people just need someone to blame. I feel for his kids, and yep they do need closure. But not by ignoring Micheal’s addition and blaming his drug dealer. I think it’s shared blame here.
Michael was a druggie. A rich druggie. As much as I loved his music, I can’t say I feel any sadness for his own self demise.

The bottom line for me is, IF Murray had decided to actually be a doctor when MJ need him to be (when he was lying unresponsive and in need of CPR after being giving a drug he shouldn’t of even had access to) INSTEAD of calling everyone but the people that could have saved his patient’s life in an attempt to cover his own ass, Micheal Jackson would still be alive.

Yes- drug dealers serve time for distribution, intent to sell, possession and so forth when dozens die from their “wares.” But never “manslaughter, murder, etc.” because most people know and can admit to what people want to ignore with MJ. IT is a CHOICE to become an addict and use. MJ made a choice. Your average methhead makes a CHOICE.

Dr. Murray was negligent in his care for him. Did the Proferol (sp) kill him or was it the time it took Murray to respond. If it was the latter that is more along the lines of negligence. Dr. Murray was the LAST person to give MJ drugs. You not paying someone 150K a month just to check your pulse and make sure you stay healthy.
