Supposedly, all of this beefing between two grown men — rap god Drake and lyricist Common — is over Serena Williams, whom both rappers are rumored to have tapped in the past. Since discovering they both had something in common (pun intended), the two men low key dissed each other on mixtapes and interviews.
Then Common dropped his single “Sweet” back in November. And with lyrics about “soft MCs” it wasn’t a stretch to figure out who he was referring to.
Then Drake responded with a soft lyrical lob on Rick Ross’ track “Stay Schemin” off his Rich Forever mixtape (“It bothers me when the gods get to actin’ like the broads”). But if there was any question about Drake’s intended target, Common left no such doubts. He remixed “Stay Schemin” leaving Drake’s verse intact. But he Photoshopped the single’s cover with the words “That Hoe Ass Nigg%” where Drake’s name was.

how old are you? there was really no response from tip because they squashed that beef before any more records really came out. a real battle is not one record like the common and ice cube beef and google those lyrics is you wanna see how an emcee attacks. what money has to do with talent? while drake is straight id have a hard time being convinced drake has the most money since common is an actor and you get millions a pop for movies while artist only make a ton of money touring and drake is not doing stadium tours. wayne has more money than common i would say but drake i doubt it. hopefully drake puts up a good lyrical battle he can rap but the magnitude you speak of wont happen.

This Diss was a Setup track for TI….he had no chance do to the way it went down…Watch Beef II
The producers of the song gave the track to TI first …..

was the only line he had and it was still skeptical if it was pointed at Luda …or just using the word…
But the Bi*chazz producers then took and let Ludacris listen to TI verse before laying his own verse on the track …TI said in an interview…that if he was able to hear Luda verse…there would of been a whole different song….Luda and TI talked afterwords which is why there was no response….
This is the same thing Common did with “stay scheming” instead of laying a new track…which to me is a b*tch move….
Who ever hears the first first and lays down there second with ALWAYS murder the original verse layer…if that makes sense….come with an original diss track or go home….

the difference is the tip luda thing was behind the scenes and this all happened before the song was released. the drake song was released with an accompanied video so it still different. what common did was just some light jabs to make drake have to respond. if drake responds you will hear a whole song from common for sure
