According to sources close to the player’s camp, the love that the player and his wife once had “has grown cold.” Sources say the wife knows her husband has been cheating on her for years — most recently with a woman identified only as a “female executive”. The wife is described as “stressed and fearful” that a certain blogger will blast the identify of the woman all over the Internet and ruin her carefully cultivated public image of a happy home life with their son. (The other woman’s identity is being withheld because she fears she will lose her job)

“It’s affecting his game. She’s putting pressure on him to act the part of a loving husband — at least publicly — but he resists because he doesn’t want to piss off his other woman,” said the source, who begged for anonymity. “He loves his son very much,” said the source. “Divorce is not an option for him.”
