I was thinking the same thing. All this money and effort to stop one guy who we don’t even know is still alive. We have seen no evidence of his alleged atrocities, only the words of some kids. I don’t get it. There’s got be be more to this KONY movement. I’m guessing it’s a grassroots fundraising slash community organization to help reelect Obama.

am i missing something? They are not asking you to strictly donate money, as renegade said, they are a non-for-profit so ofcourse money is always welcomed but not required as support. The story is very clear, the cause is even clearer. How many other things in this country/world we don’t know about that come out only when someone sheds light on it?! Like, this isn’t the first so stop it. His choice of celebrity may not have been the best, but he choose people that other people who don’t share their wealth LOVE to talk about, kind of like what some are doing here. I didn’t want to say it but f*ck it, it’s a shame that someone of another race is fighting hard for a country that people of color should be more passionate about helping in any and every way humanly possible. Even the poorest of the poor in this country have it better than third world countries, when you turn your tub or sink knob, water comes out, when you can’t afford to buy food the gov’t gives you an address to a welfare office…that’s damn luxury.
