Steve Harvey’s best-seller, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, is now a big-screen movie with an all-star cast. The movie Think Like A Man will do well in theaters when it’s released on April 20, because the one thing black women have in common is trifling black men.
But who raised men to be what they are today?
If women really want to better understand men, we need only to look inside ourselves since men sprang from our loins. The problem women have in relationships has more to do with our way of thinking than with theirs. Most women go into relationships with an unrealistic list of expectations and demands — when all a man wants is sex and a hot meal when he comes home from work.
Women are quick to demand that men put a ring on it after the dating grace period is up. But what are women doing to earn that ring? Steve Harvey was right: men need loyalty and respect from women. And in return, women will get that protector and provider of their dreams. Thinking like a man won’t solve your relationship problems if you refuse to act like a lady.
