A Gastonia, NC woman was arrested Monday and charged with beating a toddler with a belt.
According to wsoctv.com, in Charlotte, Arnta Sheree Lineberger, 23, was charged with misdemeanor child abuse and assault on a child under 12.
Lineberger, who is 4′ 9″ and 125 lbs, reportedly whipped her 3-year-old son with a belt for disobeying her.
Police and child protective services were alerted when the child’s grandmother took him to the hospital Monday. The boy had bruising to both legs, arms and around one eye, according to wsoctv.
Lineberger was held on a $10,000 secured bond. She was released from the Gaston County Jail on Tuesday.
This is not Lineberger’s first run-in with the law and child protective services.
A mug shot from 2010 shows a battered and bruised Lineberger, who was arrested and charged with assaulting the same toddler when he was only 2.
This is yet another example of a woman whose rights to give birth should be removed by the government. Just because a woman is able to give birth does not mean she is qualified to raise children.

A Gastonia woman is in jail under a $100,000 secured bond for using a stiletto high heel shoe to assault another woman.
Elisha Latasha Grier, 28, of 493 Southside Ave. assaulted Arnta Sheree Lineberger with the shoe intending to inflict serious injury, according to a warrant affidavit.
Grier was charged around 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning, according the warrant. Later Saturday morning, Lineberger, 21, was charged with assaulting a child under the age of 12. She is out of jail on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

I learned from my mother that kicking a child’s azz is temporary but punishment can last until age 18. By age 10 I wouldn’t even cry if she whooped me. One day I came home and found my bedroom removed, all the furniture except my bed was gone, no tv, no phone, even a bish’s UNO cards were gone. My mom said the great state of LA said she has to provide, food, shelter andclothing, not a dresser, tv, cable, phone, etc…needless to say I straightened up real quick.

As a former CPS employee in the state of TX, I can honestly say that it’s not always the fault of the caseworker/investigator. A lot of times judges will say the child needs to go back home.
Im not sure if thats the case with this woman and child. But that was one of the reasons I left CPS. Well that and the pay.

That’s what Heidi’s divorce papers requested. That he could have joint custody of the younger two but not the older two.
So, they say this is usually the case when molestation is suspected.
Now see, I do believe in spankings. I am also a firm believer in what works for one child may not work for another. Some children you can talk too and some children you can’t. Some children are affected by spankings, and some children aren’t. I just so happened to be one of those children whose feelings got hurt easily when someone (who cared for me) lit me up verbally. It made me feel like I disappointed them and I hated disappointing my family when I was a child. I’m the same way as an adult. It is VERY hard for me to retaliate towards someone I care about. I think I got three beatings in my young life. And they were beatings; not whippings, not spankings; they involved broomsticks and canes and sht. I also got shoes, etc. thrown at me.
Because of this, I know I have the capacity for great violence when I’m angry and I choose not to go there cause I might not be able to bring myself back before I do some serious damage. For me finding alternative forms of discipline was a necessity.

Quit it… And this is every time he comes with her.. no discipline.. she tries to put him in the corner! This ninglet throws an all out tantrum! If I even say that I’m dissapointed in her she straightens up. Most times communication is key. We talk about everything,even the baby gypsies. I don’t need to whoop azz because they know what is expected from them.

I know someone similar, but I doubt you are that extreme. Very easily angered, at the same time super duper sensitive (cuss you out, but wounded greatly when you come back on them) which is a deadly combination. My MOTHER is a communicator as well, however, there were times when I NEEDED more than for her to TELL me to stop 50 times. I needed more than for her to take a toy away from me because I simply didn’t GIVE a damn that she was going to ask me, beg me, or take something. The only thing that gave me some “act right” on certain occasions WAS that belt and the minute I saw it I stopped whatever I was doing and stood up straight.
And as far as me communicating with, or BEATING my son, if out of his 16 years, he’s got 5 a$$ whippings, he’s doing a HELL of a lot better than most kids I know, and if you have yourself convinced that I’m not a communicator based upon THAT, then have at it, Cuz.
I don’t BEAT my son, and out of the 5840-something days he’s been on this earth, I’ve had to pull out that good belt about 5 of em and THAT makes me an abusive parent who can’t communicate, then I own it – proudly.

Addendum: I can attest to what kept me out of jail, off of drugs and out of the streets better than ANYBODY can because I’m the one who made those choices and I based them upon a few things.

I suppose my mom COULD have gone to jail for drugs, got released, go to jail for assault, come back home, go to jail for drugs again, come back home, go to jail on weapons charges, get arrested for driving through Beverly Hills with drugs AGAIN, come home and get a scripted reality show and still get props for being a great orator/educator/parent on “the internets”…

What’s that syndrome that most people experience when they become emotionally attached to their abusers and defend their abusive behavior? I think it’s called Stockholm syndrome.

I was placed into a foster care when I was 11. As a foster child, I was never beaten, whipped, cursed at, or threatened with physical violence. In fact, I learned that LOVE and patience were more effective at controlling my behavior than a belt was.

I hear you loud and clear, but your circumstances aren’t mine and mine won’t be yours. A spanking and a beating are two different things in my household.
Might I suggest that you convince us of your sincerity by conveying SOME of the love and patience that enveloped you as a child before “writing” some of these “narcissist” off for filth?

I agree she has issues. But am I considered a bad mom for ocassionally spanking my child, beating him with a belt, placing him in time out, and taking away priveleges? At what point does disciplining your child makes you a bad parent? I mean I understand abuseand occassional chastizing are difficult but look at the dad that was caught on webcam disciplining his disobedient daughter who caught a ton of slack. U can’t even be a parent anymore. Sometimes talking does absolutely nothing.
