Last week People magazine named struggling singer Beyonce the most beautiful woman in the world, and now the person who is most criticized for stealing other writers’ music wins a journalism award. Wtf?
Something called the ‘New York Association of Black Journalists’ recognized Beyonce for an article she probably didn’t even write. That organization’s credibility is now shot. All true journalists who have ever been recognized by this organization should return their awards in protest of this mockery!

The superstar’s Essence magazine cover article, “Eat, Play Love,” won her first place in the Arts & Entertainment category of the New York Association of Black Journalists awards.
Beyoncé wrote about taking time away from the studio to enjoy the day-to-day pleasures of life.
“Simple things like play with my nephew, pick him up from school, visit museums, go to concerts, see some Broadway shows . . . and spend time with my husband,” she wrote.
That weave is just all kinds of dry and stringy!

Most of us know those titles are bought anyhow. Plain and simple. The people with wealth run the world of entertainment…and more. They swap favors for each other and build up their egos with empty rewards and accolades. Maxim list hottest 100, top most influential people, most beautiful, etc etc… it’s all a sham. Those of us without the massive wealth feed into the BS and get angry over sh1t we have no control over anyhow, which creates more buzz for these dumba$$es like this dry-weave, orange-glow trick captioned above.

The ABJ is not an esteemed organization for awarding journalists, writers or other contributors of litereary value.
This wouldn’t even faze me. Write up an article when she’s awarded as a Poet Laureate. In the meantime, I’m not here for awards that are “bought” rather than “earned.”

When small organizations don’t get recognition they induct someone so that it will bring awareness to them; Hence this award for Beyonce. I mean they could have used a number of people but Beyonce is the most recognizable. Don’t yall start bashing her, it’s all their doing. This is how people get grants and funding. Watch how you will be hearing more about this organization.

read the article….thought is was ok. It wasnt the usual question/answer articles that most celeb do in these magazines….
Dont know the criteria used to judge these awards…dont know if Beyonce is just one of many to receive the award….not sure if she will even win the award….not sure why every time she gets an award ppl think she bought it…
