The son of rapper Snoop Dogg has 3 years to consider an offer to play on the UCLA football team with Sean Combs’ son, Justin (right).
The NY Time’s Page Six reports that Broadus’ high school, Diamond Bar, said on Twitter, “Cordell Broadus (2015) received his first offer from UCLA.” Broadus, a 6ft, 2in, 185-pound wide receiver, has three years of high school remaining.
Combs, a 5ft, 9in, 170-pound cornerback, made headlines when it came to light that he was offered a $54,000 scholarship to play for UCLA. To Justin’s detriment, his dad is a prodigious braggart who shamelessly flaunts his wealth and boasted about dropping $2 million at a Miami strip club.
“Most people think that he being my father, he helped get me the offers, but that’s not true at all,” said Justin in a recent interview.
“I went out the whole summer, I went to all the seven-on-sevens, all the college camps and I competed my butt off. I made the most of the opportunity. I did this myself. No one did this but me.”
Broadus and Combs could play at UCLA together in 2015.
