Apple cider vinegar is really good for cleaning your hair and giving you definition in your curls.

I, sometimes use Shea Moisture products and they are really good.

If your trying to get a scrub in on your face… I use baking soda first and make it into a paste and rub it all over and then I use brown sugar and make it into a paste too with natural oils like almond oil, olive oil, and I crush avocado into it and put it in my face and it leaves my skin feeling great and breezy and looking wonderful and fresh faced.

Terresentials are really good but superrrrrrrr expensive (lol). I use that too. My sisters buys it for me and sends it to me so I don’t have to pay shipping.

Your in one of the best places here. Alot of these chicas have been experimenting with getting back their natural hair and caring for it so loads of great tips.

I had to learn with my children’s hair ranging from 3-4a. I have never had a perm but I use to straighten alot but not so much anymore. Learn to care for it by myself because for me to get my hair treated at a salon is a good 100 bucks just to do stuff I can do by myself without the waiting.

Try and cleanse your face though… could be oil and dirt clogging your pores and that is why your breaking out. Also try a hot towel on your face to open up your pores and then cleanse your skin deep down.

Great encouragement here with the mixing. I learn alot of cool tricks to what I already know. Don’t be so scared. I brought cheap electrical appliances just to mix up my stuff hehehe. I am no Flava Fayla but I love to learn and try new stuff.

Yes Keisha Cole’s and Rihanna’s CD are not bad at all. Been listening since last week to them both. Rihanna’s CD have a variety of different sounds, while Keisha is her R&B staple.
