Porshe was only 8 when her daddy got locked up for natural life. She is quite the little pistal with lots of tragic Winter characteristics, but I’m at a point in the book where I’m praying I can have some hope for little mama although it’s not quite clear just yet.

Maybe Midnight took Mercedes and Lexus (the twins). From Porsche’s perspective we don’t know because she doesn’t know. She has not seen any of them since shortly after Santiaga’s arrest and doesn’t know if they are dead or alive 2 years later.

Go to Target. The book is cheaper there. With taxes I paid $20. At B&N it’s $26.99 before tax.

I wasn’t feeling it at first either. It was too dang depressing. Winter was a dumb azz hoodrat, but at least she had a loving family and money for most of the book. Porsche has the same “I think I’m the shat when clearly I ain’t” attitude, but her life it totally f’ed up and she’s so young. I’m hoping the years will pass at some point. It painful thinking of what children go through in the foster care system when they are already screwed up mentally by ghetto royalty parents.
